Can Bloodwork T be lowered while taking T?

Spunkey, that you so much for that. (And I really appreciate all the other replies too.) That will be helpful and I will start calling around at some point. It's more helpful than 'your doctor stinks; get a new one'. I'm finding that as nice as my doctor is and as much as he listens, sometimes he gives me a different answer from one visit to the next (which are far apart). That tells me he's not giving it to me straight, or is giving standard but evasive answers. They don't realize I remember every little thing they say and can catch people in lies. As you know, it happens all the time with doctors, of which I've had to deal with many because of various conditions.

The sad reality is that there are not many doctors that know a lot about low T and how to properly treat it. It is possible to find a good doctor but you have to do a little research. There are too many people that have the mind set that what there doctor tells them is how it hast to be, we still have the right in the US to see whatever doctor we chose, no sense in seeing someone that does not have your best interest at heart.

Here is a funny skit that I think hits home, why see a doctor that is learning about TRT as he goes, see one that has already put in the time to know what he is doing!

Oh, I always loved that one. I've seen every episode of that show.

One question I have is--how do you question a new doc? Do you talk to their nurse? Do you have to go for a visit?

Also could you tell me what questions you ask and how to ask so that I don't sound like a drug seeker? For example, my doc says he tries to get people up to about 700 T level (maybe he's low balling it to give himself some room) and I'd want to ask if they shoot for 800-1000 like most TRT docs (seem) to do. Or if they go more by how you feel instead of a number.

Use the Socratic method. Lead them to the right answer and stroke their ego along the way.
