Can I megadose a bit?

Hi,

I'm new to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), and my T Score is 275 ng/dl. Age 24. Clean diet, BF at 9.5%. My question is, my doc has me on Test Cypionate injection 200mg / 2 weeks... Can I megadose a bit in the beginning to boost my T and then reduce it down to 200 mg / 2 weeks? Maybe like 400 mg / 2 weeks in the first month or something?

Thanks

That's something you should bring up with your doctor. There are some that DO take this approach as a method of "jump starting" your androgen receptors, but that's all up to them. If you're talking about increasing on your own, you want to wait for a good six months before you start messing with your dosages as you will still be "fine tuning" your testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) doses and Aromatase inhibitor (AI) if needed. Of course increasing doses to supraphysiological levels is a discussion for the AAS section - they frown on that in the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) forum. ;)

I wouldn't do it if you are scared of AI's because women with cancer also use them. The high estrogen will make you feel like shit.
