Can mast be confused as test under mass spec?

So got my blood work today after 6 weeks of using pharma grade test at 250/week. I added in 200mg of mast e as well to see how it would feel. Was very surprised to see total test over 1500. Makes me feel like my mast was faked with test. E2 was 68. Brand of mast was kalpa

It was 2x 125mg shots per week, one on Monday morning, the other Thursday evening. Bloods always drawn sat morning.

Increase the mast dose to 400mg and retest in a month. That's about the only way I can think of that will give you strong evidence of the ol' switcheroo. I've never heard of masteron being mistaken for test in an assay, although your TRT dosage could put you there too. Have you ever pulled labs at that dose of test?

so right after your peak.. 250mg is a fairly heafty dosage.. that might be the reason why youre over 1500

It wouldn't be the first time I've heard Mast switched for Test...

It retails at almost twice the price so it must be tempting for the labs to do.

I don't know anything about Kalpa though, so it's not an accusation on my part.

200mgs of mast per week is a very useless dose anyways. 600mgs/week and up is recommended...

Well 500mg of NON pharma grade test puts me at 2400, same dosing schedule. So I would expect 250 to put me at 1250 or so

Doesn't really work that way haha. Hormones are more exponential/logarithmic than linear, so doubling a dose (or halving it in your case) doesn't translate to half/double the blood values. That's not even taking into account aromatization/metabolism/UGL inconsistencies.

Remember too, you could be at 1501ng/dL, and it will give the same result as 5000ng/dL on the non-sensitive assay.

damn, why can't life just be simple! That's good to know though, thanks. Guess I will just drop the mast and wait a few weeks then get retested. For anyone reading this, be aware that this is NOT an indictment of Kalpa, I have used their products with great success for many years. I will post the results when i get them.

Well my friend took 500 mg of pharma high quality test-e (bought here at a pharmacy) and eight weeks in his test was 4000 ng/dl

Update on this. Dropped the mast completely and ran pharma grade test at 250mg/week under same protocol as above. Did this for 6 weeks and got bloods. Test was STILL over 1500. Good news that I know it wasn't the mast being faked as test that caused it.

Masteron will increase your free test but I don't think it will increase total test

On TRT dosing from a clinic and 200mg weekly of pharmacy test cyp, my Total T came in at 1550 7days post injection after 6 months of treatments, it's when we began lowering my dose. Not surprised at those numbers at all.
