Cardio first thing in the morn

What are the benifits of cardio on an empty stomach?? I hear that its more effective but I havent got any forsure answers... anybody kno?
 
after a nightime of sleeping your glyco levels will be depleted so fat loss will occur faster.
 
I don't know about this one, i don't have any personal experiences with it, nor do i personally know anyone personally who has. I agree with what cosgrove says, but i am not sure if he is oversymplifying it, but who knows.
 
Have a shake before hand at the very least. Doing it in the morning is better because you get a metabolic boost throughout the day. It makes little, if any difference, whether you eat or not, with regards to fat loss. It can make a difference with regards to muscle loss though.

This morning I got up and ran 2 miles on an empty stomach. I also heard that you are to wait to eat after doing an empty stomach cardio for at least 1 hour. I was ready to eat the dog at that point. I got the feeling that my body was starting to canibalize itself with the severe hunger pangs I had.

I hope you are wrong about muscle wasting with a fasted cardio
