Hey was just curious if it's ok to do cardio on my days off from the weights? I know the muscles need rest so they can heal and grow but is 30 min of cardio and maybe a little core ok or do I half to keep them to training days? The problem I have is that I work lots and long hours so sometimes it's hard to get the time to do my weight training and cardio on the same day...
Thanks for the help guys!

Anyone? I know it might be a dumb question but I need help. I don't want to overwork my body. From what I've learned that's just as bad as under working it. Just want a couple opinions.

Half an hour off cardio on your days off lifting should be fine as long as you don't over exert yourself to much on the cardio movement that you are going to do brisk walk low intensity cycling etc. should be fine

It is fine...what are you trying to accomplish?

running the day after actually helps muscle's repair by the influx of oxygen and the raise in heart rate/blood flow, so your running is gtg, just don't do to much so that you are dipping below your caloric need's...or just eat a little more!
