cardio on same day as weights?

I'm just wondering what you guys think with regards to doing cardio in the morning and weights later on in the evening on the same day.
Is it better to do the cardio-only day?

Personally I find doing some cardio in the morning gives me more energy for the day and probably improves my energy levels for weight training.
What's your preference?
 
I say do what works for you. If your goal is to burn fat, then the best two times to do cardio is either in the morning on an empty stomach or right after weights. I always do about 30 mins cardio after weights, however, to keep from going into a catabolic state, I consume about 1 1/2 tbs liquid protein right after I lift. Works for me and I get it ALL done in one shot. On days I don't lift when in a cutting phase, I'll do about an hour of cardio in the morning on an empty stomach.
 
Cardio in the morning doesn't work for me unless I'm going to the gym very late in the evening around midnight. I typically mountain bike before noon. Then go to the gym around or after midnight. This works for me. If I go mountain biking, and then try to work out a few hours later, I won't be able to lift any weight, and I'll tire out VERY quickly and have to leave.

Everyone's different though. Just my $.02.
