My friend told me he gets about 50 lb bags of whey protein for about 350-400$ from www.vitalus.com can anyone tell me if they bought bulk protein? GNC seems a little expensive and 50 lb would last me about 8 month. He also told me that each scoop contains about 40 to 50 grams of pure whey. The other site he gave is is www.trueproteincanada.com

SO where is the cheapest place to get 50 lb bag of whey protein if i am planing to use it as a weight gainer by adding oatmeal in there? And i am also confused as to which one i should get cold filtered or ...?

Id go with TrueProtein whey concentrate for the absolute cheapest (179.50). Plus you get a 5% discount if you use the code in my sig. Awesome quality protein, great taste, and the best customer service youll find.

isolate is pretty much just whey concentrate with everything processed out leaving only protein. If youre lactose intolerant, or if you already know that concentrate gives you stomach problems, id go with isolate ion exhchange.

Its up to you.

Isolate costs more, but it is well worth it.

If money is a big issue, then go with the concentrate. TP sells a very good product.

If you can afford to buy the 50lb bag of Isolate Cold-Filtration, do it. You won't regret it. The best protein I have ever used. I make shakes with 100grams of protein and I have no digestion problems at all. If I did that with a concentrate (no matter how good of a quaility the concentrate is) I would be on my way to the washroom with a case of the runs.
