Check out the following thread on Nebido Approval

A fairly scary warning. Seems these won't be authorized for home injections.

"Aveed's Black Box Warning:
WARNING: SERIOUS PULMONARY OIL MICROEMBOLISM (POME) REACTIONS AND ANAPHYLAXIS
--Serious POME reactions, involving urge to cough, dyspnea, throat tightening, chest pain, dizziness, and syncope; and episodes of anaphylaxis, including life-threatening reactions, have been reported to occur during or immediately after the administration of testosterone undecanoate injection. These reactions can occur after any injection of testosterone undecanoate during the course of therapy, including after the first dose.

--Following each injection of AVEED (testosterone undecanoate) injection, for intramuscular use CIII, observe patients in the healthcare setting for 30 minutes in order to provide appropriate medical treatment in the event of serious POME reactions or anaphylaxis.

--Because of the risks of serious POME reactions and anaphylaxis, AVEED is available only through a restricted program under a Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS) called the AVEED REMS Program".

Any intramuscular injection(which contains oil and a preservative) can do the same if injected intravenously.

Quiet ridiculous in my opinion, throw big words out there to scare people! A lot of people like Nebido though!

Maybe the increased concern is due to the much larger volume involved in a Nebido injection?

Hello Mprtz,

Yes, it could be. Funny how I read an article of how patients didn't like the treatment because of the post injection pain. They were injecting 3-4 ML in one injection site as a loading dose, you have to think. Wouldn't these doctor's know that injecting that large of a volume into one injection site cause a lot of post injection pain?

I think Nebido is a good concept to keeping very long esters in the body. However, better management of the actual injections should be better to make it easier/less painful for the patient. Nebido being most known in Europe where TRT isn't as known or frowned up in public it seems the trials held with the drug wasn't set to make the testing of the drug successful and have a lot of positive patient feedback.

Anyone know how to administer this drug for TT of 1000 ng/dl ?
What would the aromatization of this drug be like ?
