chip and fellow max-bros!

here is what my blood work showed, and this was taken 3 full days after test and Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) shots with no Aromatase inhibitor (AI) just to find out how my body was responding to everything,

PROLACTIN:9.1 OUT OF 4.0-15.2
DHEA: 412 OUT OF 31-701

FREE TEST: 23.5/ 8.7-25.1

HOLY TEUSDAYS BATMAN!

THYROID:
FREE THYROXINE INDEX: 2.2
T3 UPTAKE: 35 OUT OF 39 BEING HIGHEST
T-4: 6.4 OUT OF 12.0 BEING HIGHEST
T-3: 109 OUT OF 180

LH (WHICH I BELIEVE SHOULD BE LOW ANYWAYS DUE TO TEST WE R TAKING) .5 OUT OF 8.6 BEING HIGHEST

so what does everyone think? i take niacin for the cholesterol everyday, but it does not seem to be working, i may need to get on some meds for cholesterol eh?

other than that everything else seems good correct?

Your HDL looks great (should be high like it is) that's what nicen helps. For LdL: don't intake saturated fats (watch diet), supplement 7g fish oil Ed and 300mg coq10 (good brands for both) will help lower LDL

thanks man! will check into the coq10, and start up with my fish oils again!

always was confused on how to obtain 7g,

is this both epa and dha?

brands u recommend for fish oils as well as coq10?

wow 7,000 mlg a
day, is it liquid or pills? if pills, how many a day is this?

They are 1200mg liquid each so 6 pills. I take 2 after each main meal (after meal to avoid the burps that they can cause. Fish burps are gross )

Other then the need to donate blood the rest looks great.

What's the protocol don't post if you don't want to.

just the usual by chip, except i cant take anastrozole, so i take aromasin, but the emexastane generic version!

obviously my body does not convert much because an estrdiol of 32 is not bad, for not taking an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) when this blood was taken!

i usually just take 1 tab of exem a week, and feel pretty good!

where do u get the natures own?

i am thinking of taking liquid http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/store/...quid-_-YE-1003&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=YE-1003

ulitmate omega 1 teaspoon is 3200 mlg max!

also have done some research and taking in more epa as opposed to dha as we age is supposed to be better, plus when i take in more epa my moods are better!

You have to address the LDL and the Hemocrit. Both are way too high and the combination over time points to significant cardiovascular issues.

What is your diet like?

What is your current height weight body fat?

You've got to get your diet structured with t he purpose of reducing your LDL and your Total. That should be priority #1 for you for the next 3-4 months.

Is there a history of cardiovascular risk in your family?

Also, what is your BP like?

You might ask your MD about a Berkeley Cholesterol screening. This will pick up considerable more specific data points beyond just HDL and LDL. It will cover things like VLDL and particulate size of your cholesterol.

A 309 cholesterol (potential for blockages) + high Hemocrit (increased viscosity of blood) + elevated BP (increased workload on the heart) = perfect conditions for cardiac episode.

yeah cashout, my grandfather had heart disease i believe, and the last bp check i had at work the other day confirmed i had hypertension, because it was something like 190/98 or something along those lines,

whats odd is that i really dont eat a ton of crap, probably more butter than some, but other than that, some processed foods, but i honestly dont drink soda much, or eat a ton of fast foods.

i guess i might have to listen to the va when they said they wanted me on meds, but i dont want to be on cholesterol meds for life, so hopefully diet and lifestyle change will help?

For the record, I am not a big fan of statins. I just don't believe it is necessary in most individuals particularly when there are lifestyle changes that will correct the issue without the addition of another drug.

I'd work with a competent diet coach like 3J to get some structure to your habits and improve your health.

i have worked with 3j before, but i was a head case to work with, because of the amount of money my family and i had to spend along with the price of working with 3j (WHICH WAS NOT EXPENSIVE AT ALL!) it all just taxed the pocket book and our budget a bit!

random questions. is there any indication that testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) raises bad cholesterol and lowers good cholesterol?

With no change in my very healthy diet it did for me HDL dropped low range amd LDL increased to just above upper range (not much), which does not mean it would for everyone. Taking supporting supps has helped it come backdown to within range.
