CKD help???

Hey all, i am a newbie and i am trying the ckd diet.... i was wondering since i am a woman, how many carbs i should take in on my carb up day and also how long in between should i wait before i do the carb up?

About 8g/kg LBM the first day is good and 5g/kg LBM the second day.

As to how many times...well, that seems to be individual. However, it seems that the leaner one gets, the more often you have to carbup to keep losing fat.

I say start out with just the weekend, so 5 days lowcarb and 2 days carb, then if that starts to stall, start decreasing the days on lowcarb. So if 5 days LC 2 days C stalls, go to 4 days LC and 2 C, and if that stalls go to 3 days LC and 2 C, etc.
 
Thank you, i have low carbed it all week and i am so tired, i have to finish my workout tonight, and then eat like hell tomorrow! i just didn't want to eat too many carbs, what percent???

All your questions should be answered in that article. It's the best article on carbups that I know of.

But as a rule of thumb, keep fat low on the first day and keep it very low on the second day to reduce any fat gain. Otherwise keep protein high and get the amount of carbs you need.
