i just looked at the ham i baught and it had a nutritional value on it... aparently it has 2 grams of sugar and 6 carbs... isnt ham suposed to be something you can eat on CKD? is it just something that the grocery store just added or is it suposed to have that ?
btw its boars head ham from HEB

It's probably honey smoked ham, in which they add carbs in the form of honey. It tastes great but your get some carbs. Try black forest ham as there is no added carbs there.

yes those prepared meats youve got to watch out for hidden sugars added while cooked! read the labels/ingredients!

it was packaged like the fresh stuff sliced and everything... but HEB sticks a generic label on them... luckly i noticed it and was like WTF. i need to find something other than tuna, vienna sausage, and eggs or im gunna die!
