As much as I like buying 2 boxes of chicken breast a week and all the other protein meals, does anyone know any cost affective saving i can do while im at the grocery store?..ei costco walmart? I enjoy eating like this but it sure takes a toll in the pocket.

If you have a cash and carry in your area they have 40 lbs of chicken breast for 59.99.

https://www.smartfoodservice.com/ I know that they are food supply for restraunts but I have yet to be questioned at the check out counter. I buy all my vegetables there too. That last alot longer than grocery stores.

only thing i do is check the grocery circulars.... tells where the sales are. i get 10lb pork loins 1.99 a lb and boneless skinless chicken breast for 1.99 a pound .... when i see it at that price i stock up and then trim the fat, wrap each serving in plastic wrap and then freeze. beans are cheap too.

You can eat more oatmeal. You can mix oatmeal and whey protein together, and alternate this with whole food protein sources.

Agree eating healthy is costly, no doubt. Knowing the price points on your meat staples and stocking-up when you recognize a sale is prolly good advice. $1.99 for the boneless skinless chicken breasts is a "Buy Point" for me and thus far I've not had much trouble finding that point consistently.

Ground turkey and ground turkey breast is a whole 'nother issue :) Good gawd...you'd think they were grinding up the baby Jeebus into those little 1.25 pound packages...

I have a 87 mustang, a lifted 1990 jeep and a 01 f-350 diesel...... i have so many things to spend money on other than food. Hell almost 40% of ny pay check gets eatten by uncle sam..... got to save where you can.

Get a deep freezer, get a membership to a big box store like Bj's. Chicken breast on sale, buy a ton and put in the deep freezer

have you looked around at your local butchers? you can get beef and chicken at a lower cost from a good butcher. something along the lines of a half cow processed in freezer paper for just a touch over 300 bucks as an example

if you know of farms in the area they can shot deer anytime not just hunting season as deer destory crops. find the farmer and ask him to give you a shout when he has his gun out.... fresh free deer. if you do not know how to cut on up a butcher could cut it up for you for 100/150 i would think. also farmer that have chickens will sell brown eggs for $1 per dozen.
