Could be a long shot...but banana split for post workout?

7 wks off (broken elbow!)
So im at school and im watchin both the Cubs and the Food Network. What better right!? Anyways, I saw someone making a banana split and i was wondering if that would be a decent post workout mass meal. I mean, if you were to use moderation. Like 1 banana, 1s. vanilla ice cream, melted chunky peanut butter, and nuts, possible chocolate syrup? What do you guys think?

edit: i just re-read your question, and if your looking to throw on as much sloppy mass as possible, then sure, go nuts, calories = size.

if youre trying to stay at least somewhat lean, then no. Bananas and whey maybe, but no whipped cream, pb, or nuts.

No...i dont like sloppy weight. Some say you could either take a slow or fast acting side, but i was just wondering what everyones thoughts were on it. For PWO im pretty simple with 50g. of whey and 50g of dextrose (cutting now). If im not cutting ill double the dextrose to about 100g. I like to go with the fast acting stuff, but some say going with a slower side is just as good?
 
just stick with whey and some form of carb. slow, fast....whatever. I used to use grape juice or malto/dex for that all important "insulin spike", but ive been using ground oatmeal lately and its been doing its job.
