Creatine.

I'm using 5ml of Creatine Serum before my workout, have been using it for 2 months and no bloating problems.

I'm using Sportlabs Plasmavol right now. I love it! I certainly know that my muscles are much fuller than before. I do lose some of my definition that's for sure when I'm using creatine.
If I'm doing a cutting phase, I won't use creatine but when I'm trying to put a few pounds on, I always use Plasmavol. It's available at the
store here. http://www.directconnectnutrition.com/

Oh and just another note, I take it before I train as well as after I train.
Gives me a nice little kick in the gym!:)

i was advised by a good friend that creatine is best in powder form... monohydrate.

kaizen is good i hear, but jen and fyre like the same kind.... and after looking at them i'd say it works ;)

I LOVE Plasmavol's Iced Tea flav... but the Peach is just as good Fyre! ;)

I also mix my own post workout shake consisting of whey protein, dextrose, 5g pure creatine monohydrate and ALA.. this is the best transport system IMO and great for fast recovery!

I use creatine while bulking (as I am now)., You will indeed notice the scale jump up, definition will become less, clothes might fit somewhat more snug.... but not to worry it is NOT fat!! simply just more intercellular water making your muscles appear fuller, aiding in an increased output when lifting.. IE being able to push more weights, thus resulting in more lean mass gain eventually.

On another note, I have always cut out creatine while cutting.. but perhaps next time around I am considering leaving it in for added recovery post workout as well in keeping my strength up, as it tends to go down a bit when dieting.

on another note.. the creatine serum is junk!!! it may be great for a lil energy boost preworkout from the things added to it, but thats about all that you will benefit from it. reason being creatine is NOT stable in liquids for long periods of time... thus the creatine serum resulting in only 3-5% creatine! AND it is SO overpriced!

Excellent post, Jen. :) Thanks for the input everyone, I appreciate it. Gonna give it a try. Excited to see what kind of results I'll have. :D

no problem girl! Good Luck with it! make sure you keep your water intake HIGH!! are you loading? bc IMO theres no need to, far too overhyped!

Loading? Not sure what you're asking me. Carb loading? No. Juicing? No. :dunno:

from DirectConnect Nutrition, their plasmavol is about 54$ for a 5lb bucket.
or you can get 500g pure creatine monohydrate for 27$!!

Some people follow a 'loading' phase with creatine, in thoughts that taking 25-30g per day for 5 days will saturate their muscles sooner. No need for this process IMO you can obtain the same within a matter of a couple weeks, and much cheaper! Just shoot for 5g creatine post workout!

Gotcha. This will be my first time taking creatine which is why I wanted the unput. :) Always had a bloat phobia. I hate that feeling. I'll keep ya posted as to my results. :)

cool thanks!

i take it there's no detriment to using plasmavol rather than monohydrate.... (lookin at you and fyre, that is)

I take Creatine pre-work out and Glutamine post work out, but I read that You should not take them all together or too close because they would compete for the same?? Honestly I can not remember what it was but I understood that they enter is some kind of conflict?? Have you heard anything about this?

it depends on where you read it... some people say that they compete for absorption, and some say it's fine, if not best, to take them together.

i think it's an individual thing.

i found an interesting thread about glutamine though: http://www.discussfitness.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=26601#post26601
