Creatine.

I take Creatine pre-work out and Glutamine post work out, but I read that You should not take them all together or too close because they would compete for the same?? Honestly I can not remember what it was but I understood that they enter is some kind of conflict?? Have you heard anything about this?

IMO Id take them together. its a debative issue, so to each his own I suppose.
as for creatine, it would be best to take POST workout in your shake consisting of dextrose.. this way it becomes more readily absorbed by your muscles by the insulin spike shuttling nutrients to the muscle cells for repair.

cool thanks!

i take it there's no detriment to using plasmavol rather than monohydrate.... (lookin at you and fyre, that is)

umm I sucked in english and dont have a dictionary close.. hehe what are you asking? is one better then the other?
the Plasmavol is a premixed powder consisting of dextrose, creatine and ALA and it tastes great!!
getting pure creatine monohydrate alone you will need to purchase the dextrose and ala seperatly. thats all! same effects!
was that what you were asking?

Thanks a Million atherjen,
I too need help in English and in my workout & diet in general, But your input is much appreciated and I'll start looking for that Creatine, Right now i take Creatine Serum, but as soon as I finish that lil' bottle I'll make the change. Also I'll modify my training routine and as soon aa I have pics worth posting I'll put them up for You to review them and destroy me.

Okay, ladies. Started taking creatine monohydrate, 5g post workout with fruit juice, on Sept 15th.

Here's the kicker. I am soooooooooooo bloated!! Ugh! Tried 3 different pairs of jeans this morning trying to find a comfortable pair. Everything is WAY tight.

I've been making certain to take in plenty of water. What am I doing wrong? There's no way I gained that much weight in a week to cause this as my jeans were kinda loose on me to begin with. So it's gotta be the creatine, right?

Help please! :(

lol....oh sorry, being bloated isn't fun is it? How much water are you drinking hun?
Yes, you will gain weight on the creatine but keep in mind that it's just water weight. You will definitely be a little "softer" while using creatine but don't worry hun, it's just water.:)

One other little tip would be to start taking 3g of Creatine before your workout and another 3g post workout. I like the kick that creatine gives me for training. Are you having a protein shake following your workout as well? If so, the combination of the protein and creatine might be making you feel more bloated than usual.
Maybe cut your creatine in half like I said and see how you feel then. :)
I usually take my Plasmavol about 30-45 minutes before I train and then immediately following my training.
:)

Hahaha! It was a sight, Fyre girly. Jeans being slung around the room! I was pissed! LOL! :p

Been getting about a gallon and a half of water a day. Is that sufficient?

I take my protein shake immediately following the creatine. Would holding off an half hour or so be better?

I'll try splitting the dose and see if that helps. Thanks for the help, Sweetie. :)

I normally drink my Plasmavol on the way home and then when I get home, I make my protein shake. I would definitely feel bloated if I had my Plasmavol and my protein at the same time.:)

Way up! :D Probably the only reason I've stuck it out this far. :p That and my muscle recovery seems to be soooo much faster than before. :)

Oh yes, your strength should definitely go up on Creatine as well as your recovery time being reduced. The "full" feeling does suck though!:D
