cutting and carb up days

depends. Most bodybuilders who are cutting usually have a carb up day about every 3-4 days, then go severely low carb the other days. They determine this by feel when they lift - they call it "falling off". When this starts to happen (the glycogen stores are depleted), it's time to carb up again.
 
Thank you very much, that is very helpful. I haven't been going on a super low carb diet but I eat about 100 carbs a day and about the end of the week I'm really exhausted. I appreciate the info.
