hey bros i'm 4 weeks into a cutting cycle.. i've always been able to bulk up well but when it comes to cutting i suck.. mainly because of my diet.. i've been sticking pretty good to the diet i'm on now which is
meal 1 - 1 whole egg with a couple egg whites and a bowl of oat meal
meal 2 - bowl of non fat cottage cheese with a salad or fruit
meal 3 - stir fry (chicken, turkey or lean ground sirloin) with lots of veggies
meal 4 - natural peanut butter
meal 5 - usually steak or chicken
meal 6 - protein shake before bed

eating about every 2.5 hours and no carbs after 3-4
my workouts all include 30 mins of cardio intense straight cardio and interval depends on the day.. on my days off i do 1 hour.
this sound good? any extra ideas?

i'm 230, 6'0" and not sure about my bf %.. probably pretty high tho

Hey bro, I'm 6' 237 lbs in a bulking cycle. In summer I cut up pretty good.I don't do shows but like to be lean for summer month. Imo your not taking in enough protein. in your 2nd meal Id add some protein.( stay away from anything white. bread,cheese,milk,ect...) Also Ive never had any luck with cutting & peanut butter.but that's me. Good luck.

Hey Buddy...I think your lacking protein..
I really love the protien + fat diet
Because the carbs really burn and digest fast... rathet if you had 70z chicken + 30 g peanuts..ull feel more filled until your next meal..
I would try for 6 meals
each meal would be 50 g protein + 15 g fat
Eg. 45 g protein shake with 25 g almonds

If your looking at getting in shape you might want to consider doing a keto diet. If your set on what your already doing you need to bump up you protein to around 1.5g per lb. IMO I would add 6000mgs of EPA's ( Fish Oil) split between your meals.This is vitally important especially when dieting to get Omega-3 which are good fats,Evening Primrose(omega 6 GLA) to help maintain a good hormone balanceand Omega 9 for a healty heart. People seem to think that when dieting you should eliminate all fats as they are bad for you, this is not true. Adding these fats will help you burn fat and build muscle while taking care of many other things- Trust me on that one.
 
ya my vitamins include, a multi, d, e, c, b100, flax seed oil, fish oils, then i take ginseng and green tea extract.
i've upped my protein, on those meals in between i've added chicken breast and at breakfast i'm adding a protein shake and one obviously when i get home from the gym.
so we'll see how it goes.. wish me luck!
