Cycle Two: Get to Know Deca

As for the Aromatase inhibitor (AI), I found during my first cycle that Aromasin crashes my E2 really fast. I had blood work done four times last cycle, and found my sweet spot at about 3.75mg/ed.

Does Deca aromatize? If not, then I'm only needing to control E2 aromatizing from 200mg Test-e/week. An Aromatase inhibitor (AI) might not even be necessary...? Anyway, I'll get blood work done on every week for the first few weeks and make sure I'm in the right place with Caber and Aromasin.

As for Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) five weeks on, one week off, I read that in one of DET's posts. I'm not sure what the science was behind it. I guess to prevent downgrading? I'll probably just go with 750iu HCG/week through the whole cycle.

well i doubt that you would need aromasin at 200mg test/week,i run 300mg/week trt,and i have a good bit of BF and i dont need any aromasin,but when i up the dose,i need it.

Are you basing your estrogen crashing on the way you feel or blood test?

If you got results on 500 total mg's a week, I don't see the reasoning behind drastically upping the mg's per week total in only cycle 2.

Apparently Deca is strong stuff, so why not test (no pun intended) the waters with 200-300 a week each of test and deca? That way your total mg's won't be doubling, and you can feel for how your body reacts to Deca.

700 test and 500 deca? That would be an absurd 2nd cycle.

If you got results on 500 total mg's a week, I don't see the reasoning behind drastically upping the mg's per week total in only cycle 2.

Apparently Deca is strong stuff, so why not test (no pun intended) the waters with 200-300 a week each of test and deca? That way your total mg's won't be doubling, and you can feel for how your body reacts to Deca.

700 test and 500 deca? That would be an absurd 2nd cycle.

IMO a first cycle of deca/test would be 600mg Test and Deca 400mg/week lower sides of both compunds.

I have not but I feel like you are of the camp thinking "more is better." My best friend has been in the AAS community for 2+ decades and when I tell him some of the cycles you guys recommend he just shakes his head.

When I spotted him with 385 for reps on incline when we met, he was on 1cc of deca a week. That's it. At 45 years old.

He tells me all the time a cc of deca and a cc of test a week is more than enough to blow up anyone with an ounce of genetics. Some of the chunkers or dweebs that can't build any muscle will of course need a gram of each to do anything. But for guys like him and I with 15+ years of lifting and some actual effort put in, a cc of each blows us up.

Again I have not used deca but I trust his word. Hes not just a recre lifter, he's been and is around IFBB pros all the time and some SERIOUSLY big dudes.

Yeah, I don't think I wanna go above a gram a week this cycle. After adding in the Masteron, that makes exactly one gram/week.

Blood tests...E2 dropped below 12. I got one done every two weeks while on cycle.

The main purpose of this cycle isn't to maximize growth, it's to maximize learning. If I wanted to really grow, I would run test at 500 and deca at 400 and use a D-bol kickstart. But what I am really interested in is:

1. How does Deca affect me
2. How sensitive I am to progesterone sides
3. What effect does test at 200, Deca at 500 have on collagen synthesis
and
4. What difference does the DHT derivative make on 1 and 2

Next time I run Deca, I'm sure I'll do a traditional bulking cycle. In fact, this cycle may turn into a traditional bulking cycle with test higher than deca if I start having libido issues...
