Deca/Test bunk?

Alright, i'm in week 9 of my 2nd cycle.
Weeks 1-14: Test 600mg/wk
Weeks 1-12: Deca 400mg/wk
Weeks 1-4: Dbol 30mg/day

This was supposed to be a hefty bulk cycle for the winter, i started this cycle at 182 (pretty cut up), and now in week 9 i am around 190-192. My first cycle on Test 500 i gained about 28 lbs off that alone, so im questioning whether my gear is bunk considering ive only gained 10 lbs so far. Now i know that is not bad for only 9 weeks, but here is why im questioning the gains ive made.
1. Since starting this cycle i started training with a few guys instead of training by myself. This has allowed me to really push myself instead of always holding back some when i lift alone.
2. I'm on my 4th week of creatine mono (normally gain anywhere from 3-4lbs of water weight)
3. When i started this cycle, my diet increased quite a bit, carrying a little more fat than i was.
- im also using a weight gainer drink during my workout w an extra 980 cals, only drinking about 5/8 of it throughout/after workout.

Based on all 3 of these changes, it seems like this 10lb gain could be strictly from training hard, a little fat gain too.
My strength has been increasing slowly, but i think its from working out w partners, i am able to push myself further each week.

What do you think? I havent done hcg this go around (yet) bc i felt is was unnecessary. Don't have any signs of gyno either. The only symptom ive noticed is acne on my shoulders/back which i know is from something.

Im thinking the Test i have might be real (ugl) but very underdosed? I would have thought that this hefty cycle of test/deca/dbol would really help me put on some mass. opinions please!
 
You may be like a lot of people who use deca,I'm in week 16 and I just started noticing gains the last 4 weeks.i gained 10 lbs after about 6 weeks then I didn't gain anymore until a few weeks ago,Seems to me it just took the deca a long time to kick in good for me and I just got bloods run and I'm gonna extend my cycle a few more weeks,my bloods came back ok so I'm gonna see what happens in the next few weeks.and my doses are test c 700mg/week and deca 500mg/week I now wish I would've used your doses.i was at 260 when I started,now I'm at 279 I know some is water but overall it's gonna turnout ok I will have my diet better next time for sure.i thought my gear was bunk at first to
 
thanks for the response man, thats interesting. I was considering stopping this cycle and getting some gear from another source and starting over, but i may wait it out a few more weeks to see if it kicks in more. I just hate not knowing for sure and possibly wasting a 15 week time period
 
haha, what about the test and dbol though? last cycle i put on 28lbs from test alone, and the majority of the gains were from weeks 3-10. i would have thought the test plus dbol would do more...

well I would keep going brother a few more weeks cause if your current gear is bunk,the new gear you get is gonna take several weeks to kick in anyway so all that new year is wasted IMO wait and use your new gear next cycle and finish this cycle with what you have if it is bunk you aren't gonna lose but a few more weeks,If you buy new gear,you won't be able to run it long enough anyway,just wait and see what happens brother.have you gotten any blood test done while on? To see if your test levels are high or low?

sounds like a plan, and no i havent had much time to, plus my parents are physicians, so unless i try an online source its out of the question right now

i would at least get my test levels checked from a private source on line,they are cheap and good,ther is one called private md labs the right url is posted somewhere on this forum,ive used them and they are good
 
How much are you eating? I am in week 6 of basically the same cycle. I went from 209 to 225 the first 4 weeks then I have plateaued. I recently upped my carb intake and now I'm starting to pack some more weight one. I believe the deca usually kicks in around week 8 or so but this week I have noticed a pretty big increase in strength.

stevenmd this sounds like alot of us are experiencing the same thing with deca,its strange,i gained about 10lbs pretty quick in my cycle then it shut off completley,then about a month ago i started gaining again,and im in week 16,i was gonna end my deca this week,but i had my bloods done last week and im gonna continue on a few more weeks and see how my gains go

This cycle is only 12 weeks for me. I think the next one might be a bit longer but I want to do some more research.

The last week or so my libido was kind of low - I could still get a rise but the drive wasn't really there - but this week the drive has been through the roof again. It's almost as if it feels like sometimes the gear is working and sometimes it isn't. I know it's not separating in the bottle so who knows. Today my strength was pretty good, I was able to put up 225# close grip bench for a few reps and put up 185# close grip like it was air.
 
The test and dbol should produce more than that if you are eating sufficiently. It is a bit late to switch to another brand so just ride it out and see what happens. Can you mention the brand or pm me?

And i've noticed the same with deca. 10lbs in the first 4 weeks then no gains until week 12 and another 8lbs from 12-16.
 
This is fucked. You're running over a gram of steroids and in 9 weeks you've gained 10 pounds. You should have at LEAST 10 pounds of water on you just from the test alone.

What brand are you using?

my strength is doing the same thing,i had some sexual problems to a few weeks ago myself,i dnt have problems with erections or drive it was just finishing that was affecting me,i asked some of my friends about it on here and i started using Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) and increased my test dose until the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) kicked in and it has helped alot,i didnt realize that deca could be so harsh like that.

I researched over a year on deca before i even thought about using it,and have all the precautions on hand,i use caber 2 times a week,keeping the water down,with aromasin,but i never used HCG,cause i thought after being on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for 5 years,why would i need it,but i learned alot about it and my friends suggested i use it,and it has really helped
 
I've always had a problem finishing. Some guys have a problem with finishing early, not me. I can go for hours. It seems like it's easier to finish on round 2 than it is on round 1.
