How much has Jui Jitsu increased your overall conditioning, agility, speed, footwork, etc?

Right now I am in the best shape if I have been in since high school. My cardio is a lot better than it was before I started. My speed and agility are coming with the training. First I need to learn technique. Speed comes later once you have the muscle memory. Right now I am doing alot of repetitions and not necessarily at full speed.

Footwork hasn't really changed. We do learn takedowns, but most of the work is done on the ground. If i really want to work on footwork that is something to focus on my own time.

It's a wonderful sport, isn't it :) Glad to see your enjoying it... I love it.
