Over the last 18 months my sister has lost about 80lb of bodyweight using the weight watchers diet. She is 5'9 and has gone from 244lb to 163lb ,Over the last month she has hit a plateu and is not loosing any more weight, she trains 5 days a week doing cardio and some weights.
Having had a chat with mum it appears she has been really depressed and has started taking laxatives and i believe started making herself sick!
I had my sister come over and we sat down and looked at her diet and it looks horrible. Her diet consisted of very few calories and almost zero protein, I would write it up here but i made her tear it up while we were speaking.

Anyway, We wrote up a diet which includes lots more calories high protein and carbs, cutting the carbs at 2 pm. A day looks like this:

Breakfast 0800 50g porridge with scoop protein or mushroom and tomato omlette or scrambeled egg on plain bagel

snack 1030- handfull nuts with fruit

lunch 1300- jacket potato with tuna or chicken wraps or mackeral salad

snack 1600- maybe more nuts of couple boiled eggs of chicken breast

dinner 1900- chicken with steamed veg or salmon or other fish

This is only a very basic diet with only my limited knowledge of what a woman should need, I need help in tweaking this and some help as to how she should be training

Any help would be great, she has achieved so much these last couple year and just needs that final bit of help to get her to where she wants to be.

she's lost a lot of weight and is doing great? Maybe time to add some supps once the deit is in order. Sesathin, forskalin, tta? I would definately get her taking 20g of fish oil per day. I find the results quite good. Maybe a mild thermo is in order now.

I agree with Badkitty. In addition ,be careful with nuts. Although they are good for you and have omega 3 fats, it doesn't mean you should eat a handful a few times per day. Eating 6-7 small meals per day is best, but you must keep the macros (count calories). When eating eggs, make it one yolk and the rest egg whites. If you don't watch these things, you'll end up having an increase in bady fat.

BTW, congratulations on her weight loss, that's great..:dance2:[
