Can anyone tell me...if I drink a whey protein shake of 60grams or eat a can of tuna at 60grams what is the difference in metabolisim if any and does a body lose more weight by eating the substance than by drinking it? Is protein just that and it does not matter?
 
You should get your protein from different sources and not rely on just one kind of protein. One benefit of protein from tuna would be that it'll have some EFA's and if you're needing a fuller feeling the tuna will be slower to digest. If your whey protein is made into a shake with ice, you will burn some extra cal's heating it up and the whey is more easilly digested making the nutrients more quickly available to your body. Canned tuna has been processed to some extent and loaded with sodium, fresh tuna would be much better. There is some research that shows regular consumption of whey protein helps fight/prevent cancer.
 
Puddles, Thanks...by any chance do you know anything about egg white protein in that does the protein disappear or change into something else????? If it is blended for 30secs or less just to get the slimmy stuff to break down?
 
I have been trying to tell my friend that and he insists that the protein changes some how. YOu are awsome thanks for the response. I f I have any more diet questions I will ask! I am so glad my friend gave me this forum to hang out in...................

and puddles you are awesome! saphire, there are sooo many things you can do to eggs whites to reduce the "sliminess"; sometimes i add them into my shakes as well.
like puddles said; it's generally better to use shakes as supplements, and eat a good amount and variety of whole foods. also keep in mind that whole foods have more fiber than liquid shakes.

MINX.........No doubt I will be asking lots of questions. I am doing my first cycle and I must say that it is quit interesting what a body can do. Solid food for me is difficult sometimes that is why I tend to do shakes and lots of egg whites. NOT 100 o/o though. All the info here is really helping me.Thank you for taking the time to reply. It is great to know that you guys really know your stuff! Thank you................

Minx...........Experience IS a great teacher!!!! I have had alot only in the past 5weeks. We shall see what this all looks like in the next 5. Got some awsome support and a freak to work me out. Still not as freaky as me though. :startrek: :eyes:

Minx......That sounds like me! Well you asked me to post my cycle I did have some interesting emotions going on with this I absolutly know that some NOT all are from what I am ingesting. So here it is and then guess what I have questions. I started on the 1Aug 12.5 t3 , 10 Anavar (var), 60 clen. Yes I tappered every 10days to my current level 75 t3,20 var,and 80 clen. With e/c/a every other 10days in place of the clen. I like clen And it likes me. I am going to hang out at 75 t3 for 14 maybe 21 days we'll see. I am feeling a bit gurrrrrrrrrrrrrr and I hate people that shop. I can feel their body heat because they are so close to me or its me radiating HOT.......... I do feel like a nymph which I kinda like. My sleep is not good I need naps in the afternoon. Now after having problems with solid food I am fuckin starving ALL THE TIME. I need to lose 30 more lbs to be at rough 10 bf. Then I will take a year to be able to compete. I think that most of all I just want to know that I am "normal" in some of this. I have a male friend that is a bodybuilder and he is my trainer. He has never had a female do this before but got great advise from ???????????????? some of you. I am his specimen so he says. So what do you think?
 
I'm prolly gonna wait on Supergirl to back me on this one. She's the Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) guru lol... plus she knows more about tapers than i do. seems like a good solid stack to prevent t-3 from wasting your muscle though. thx for posting it; let's see what superirl suggests. i'm willing to bet that's who your friends talked to...
 
Ya probably...I have sent stuff to her she is great.....VERY BUSY and I did not want to waste her time. She sent me off to forums about t3 and Anavar (var). It was excellent but I had too many questions about my internal emotion stuff. I just really wanted to know how others have felt. Know what I mean? More of a one on one so I greatly appreciate YOU! I like it better when I am interacting with someone.......THANKX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
ALWAYS welcome, girl... that's what we're here for ;) i would love to jump right in and help you, but i want to be sure you get the best possible taper advice, and that would come from SG. she's most definitely a "guru" lol! and you may get advice from other members chiming in as well, so we'll see-
i do know that irritability is a very common side reported; not necesarily "rage" but definite mood swings. and yes, clen does make you VERY HOT. and being hot personally makes me irritable, so that might be something to consider lol. good luck!

Minx.......Thanks.. The clen does not make me hot the t3 makes me hot. The clen makes me sweat. I like sweat.... I do not have sides with clen it is just really clean for me. The Anavar (var) well who knows I do have pretty tight muscles sometimes but I learned that I have to really strech them out and I am good to go. I tested this stuff indivigual so I could feel what was happening to my body. It is the weird emotion that I go thru every time I up my dose for about 3days until I acclimate to it. The most recent thing doing 75 t3 and 20 Anavar (var) is that I must workout. I mean 1hr cardio in the am and then again at night. I tried this today my 3rd day in and I feel so much better after I did that. I am 5weeks out from the end of this and 30lbs to go...well see!!!! Thanks for getting advise from SG she is awsome.................

ok saphire... T3 is raising your metabolism by increasing thyroid production. This can bring on side effects as the ones you are experiencing; hot flashes, mood swings, increased hunger, increased energy and decreased energy and also irritability. The T3 and the clen can be causing your restlessness and need for naps. You may not be able to sleep a full 8 solid hours... cat naps are OK to do while on an accelerated fat loss cycle such as yours. You may want to take the otc supplement ZMA or gaba or valerian root or melatonin to help sleeping at night. You gotta realize that when you increase your metabolism, your body is burning at such an accelerated rate that it is going to tire much faster than normal because it is not used to this zoooommm (for lack of a better word) so in time, your energy will become a bit more steady and you won't burn out as quickly... Do also take a multi-vitamin and a good B caplet to aid in sustained energy. But if ya gotta nap, go nap :) oh and you ARE still eating every 3-4 hours correct??? a lack of sufficient carbs could also be a problem.
It's a bitch getting lean.... like i always say, if it were easy, everyone would be lean! ;)

the need to be a freak in bed lol... well that is just being a hot blooded sexy ass bitch :) lol.. but i do know that when i train more i want sex more. When i am on a cycle my sex drive increases. The more aggressive i get, well.. you see where this is going ;)

you are damn LUCKY the clen and you are getting along! That is terrific! I get headaches really bad from clen, which is why i use the 2 day on 2 day off cycle instead of the 2 week one. I can't take it for that long... ECAs are great and keep on trucking! Hang in there babe! you are well on your way to your goals!!!

Supergirl............Excellent!! As always you are awsome!!!!! Much appreciation for your knowlege. :) I am working so hard.. I have 5weeks to hit this goal 10o/o bf. That is a shit load....But I will do it. After I will post a before and the here and now of my results. I do want to know what you think of me doing half my clen in the am and the other half in the afternoon. Does it matter? I could up it to 100 easily I think although I have only done 80 at a time. i SOOOOOOOOOO APPRECIATE YOUR REPLY THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
