Has anyone heard of this website, or actually used the service? They claim with a DNA test kit they send you that they can determine the best foods for you to put in your meal plan, Trainng you should be doing, etc. to optimize your physique. I would be very interested in seeing what their reports would say if it's useful.

I cannot fathom how your genetics would come to play in what meal plan you need - other than the obvious bits about lactose intolerance, wheat intolerance, etc. Muscle is muscle, fat is fat, etc., regardless of what race or ethnicity you happen to be. All bodies use the same materials in the same way, your genetics simply makes your body work faster or slower with said materials. I could be completely off base here, but I really cannot see a genetic test telling them anything.

What items did they say they were specifically looking at in your genetics? I have a cursory understanding of genetics and might be able to say if they are truly bunk or not. They could possibly be looking at the "warrior gene", but that is simply a set of genes that show if you are more likely to respond aggressively to stressful situations than the average person.

This page covers some of the genes they test for.

I haven't read your link, but on the surface it sounds like the Blood Type Diet.

That was my first thought as well. If that's the case though, why test genes? You just need to know their blood type. Also, the blood type diet didn't really give advice on training, it was all food based.
