Do women need similar kind of therapy?

Hi everyone! I have seen for quite a while that my wife's behavior is similar to mine. She is fatigued a lot. She can sleep for over twelve hours and still be exhausted. She gets deeply depressed and cries a lot. Her anxiety is up and down like yo yo. She is moody, especially during her monthly cycle. She has tried a number of diets and has only gained weight the past year. Her libido is in the mood on a rare occasion. I am positive it is not a precursor to menopause, but what can be her problem. She does have 5 bulging discs and sciatic pain. She tries to exercise but it is painful. Could she be experiencing a similar hormonal imbalances. I know that she is going to the doctor soon for a full blood work, but I was hoping for some thoughts about it. Thanks!

It is possible. Make sure she gets the blood work at the right time in relation to her menstrual cycle. And she needs to know where she is in her cycle. As you indicated, women's hormone levels change a lot in a given month.

How old is she?
