Do you stop testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) if you get gyno till its cleared up? Or keep on with injections?

Just wondering if a person gets gyno while on trt do they have to stop injections till its cleared up?

A lot of Endo's don't know about AI's and the importance of E2 management in a TRT protocol, let alone prescribe them...believe it or not.

Ohh i believe it!
Why we must do our OWN research and not assum doc knows best. and thanks to places like RUI, we are GTG with our research :-)

I really got confused cause my primary dr was trying to tell me to stop the injections till it gets cleared up, and I was thinking that's not gonna happen! He is not even the dr that gives me my injections. Really weird I called my uro about it and they told me I needed to see my primary dr so I saw him and he told me he wouldn't prescribe me anything! lesson learned the hard way!

Thanks everybody!

You continue T therapy and administer gynecomastia therapy.

I don't believe that an endocrinologist would be unaware of aromatase inhibitors. There are many, however, that are not up to date on their knowledge to make better assessments.

I see my trt dr tomorrow who is a Urologist and should be putting me on aromasin or whatever its called. But when the gyno popped up I called the office to come in sooner and was told by them I needed to see my primary dr which seemed crazy, so I saw him and he said I need to see my endo.
