Do you think one of them is using gear pt. 2

No they don't lol.
Even 300+ hp is enough to scare the crap out of an everyday driver if you use it correctly.
This engine will be enough to scare the shit out of me several times over.
Gotta do it though :)

When I was in high school, I had a friend who's dad raced RX-7's for IMSA; I agree - nothing scarier than being in a car with a guy that knows how to use a car that is built for speed. I'm talking a triple rotary in a car that weighs less than 2,000lbs. 165mph as a passenger? Yeah, I have a healthy respect for torque and acceleration now. ;)

So true so true

I have a friend that use to scare the shit out of me with a strait six f150 hahaha but that f--ker can drive anything
Those old sixers had some serious balls. I know my jeep with an I-6 had some monster torque that I'd use to give the missus an accelerated heart rate for awhile. ;)

So ice cream fitness dude finally got shut down even though he had a disclaimer every episode? LOL Glad to know our tax dollars are being spent well. :p

The 4.0L in the wrangler is only rated at a paltry 190hp when new but a whopping 270ft/lbs of torque that comes on at only 1700rpm. They're little tractor motors for sure but can't rev to save their life (despite my best efforts). I've even power-shifted my Wrangler before a couple of times, foot to the floor the entire time. Yea, my drive-train did NOT like that one, I could hear the clutch squealing for grip. Probably not the best idea with an ancient transmission that has a 2' throw to the next gear.

I wonder if the ICF shutdown has anything to do with his beef with Lyle McDonald?

Yeah, all torque - but that's where the fun is at! If I wanted just raw horsepower, I'd hop in my buddy's Hennessey Viper and blow my hair back. :p If he'd let me... :(

That's a VERY good question. I know youtube, being owned by Google has to bow to the whims of the US government if they feel it is inappropriate. Sure, viewers can get something shut down too - but he was online for a very long time. I'm betting you're onto something here. ;)

Aware me please?! I like Lyle even though he can act like a spoiled child at times lol

:p

Funny story my dad had a strait six nova when I was a kid, it was actually built for drag racing. He ran low 13s with two 4 barrel carbs, the best part about the car was showing people what they got beat by hahaha

LOL. That's awesome! Almost as good as this old Pinto my buddy had that he'd take to SIR (when it existed :( ) on drag nites and NOBODY had a clue for awhile that thing had a 460 sandwiched in there and was one HELL of a sleeper. Hillarious to watch these kids come out with their rice burners, only to get DESTROYED by this ugly little POS.

Lots of love for the old Novas though. Damn fine automobiles. :D

It's the Chevelle's lil brudder.
I was 90% on pulling the trigger on a Nova before I got my Chevelle but the 'velle is what I really wanted so that's what I bought.

Can you believe the big-ol' Chevelle actually came with a 4-cylinder option from the factory?

ROFL, I knew about the Lyle McDonald discussion, but had no idea Layne Norton got into it with him too. Too funny.

I'm all too familiar with the Chevy Boat..er Chevelle as I was always put on transmission duty when we had to fix my buddy's ride. Nothing like having to bench press up several hundred pounds from the wet ground. :worried: They were just too big for my tastes, but I didn't know they came with an optional four banger LOL. I can't imagine the size of those pistons!

Wow I have lots of respect for Layne as well. The man is very well versed. I'll have to watch that video when I get home.
