Did you go to your GP/family doc or an endo or ?? I like the idea of a script, and advice from a real Doc, but my insurance sucks, so it will cost me. If I can get a script it would probably be worth it, but having to do bloods every what ever doesn't really appeal, even though I'm sure it's for the best. Running Deca year round like our dear departed Texan certainly has a great deal of appeal as well. I'm on the fence, I want a script but I don't want to deal with the added cost of Doc visits, but I'm also reluctant to just self prescribe. I think I'll get through this PCT then do a hormone panel and go from there. What's the norm, 2 months after PCT?
I went to both and settled with my PCP as the endo knew even less than he did. I interviewed a few others and found that the majority of docs in my area haven't got a clue on male hormone replacement.
Red flag question: What do you think about aromatase inhibitors?
"For women?"
*BUZZZ*
"It's really not needed for physiological levels of testosterone"
*TRY AGAIN*
"Men don't create estrogen, so there's no need." (yes, seriously had a doc say this to me)
*WTF. END YOURSELF BEFORE YOU HURT SOMEONE*
"We can look into it if needed, but that would depend on blood tests once we dial in your levels."
*Ding ding ding!* Shame none of them said that.
The blood tests eventually dwindle down to every 6 months or even yearly so it's not a big deal to be honest. In fact, I'm about to take this high test/high tren blast to a low test/high tren cruise LOL as I have a test coming up. I'll come back down for a bit and stay on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) levels so my body can get some much needed rest, but it's really not THAT big of an inconvenience. Deca from a doctor is a VERY rare occurrence, and I was shocked to know that Austinite was getting that. I don't know if IMT offers that, but I do recall them talking about HGH - so it's possible.
Yeah, I'd at least get the panel done first so you have an idea if you even need to ponder these possibilities. I definitely wouldn't cruise if you have healthy nuts quite yet. Sure, we're getting older; but being
forced to pin so you don't feel like you want to die 24/7 does suck. Yes, 2 months would be a good starting point for a blood test. If it comes back low, you can always wait a little longer and retest though.
Hope this helps.
