Do you think one of them is using gear pt. 2

Don't be fooled. The tests are ridiculously hard. I failed both 3 times for NMLS when I took them a couple years ago. It may be a little different for appraisers though. Not as many laws and regs.

Appraisals don't interest me as much as the inspection work does.

Anyone in here used PSL yet???

Nope, so far just Pinn and Genshi from an overseas supplier. They seem to be exactly the same as Z, not sure if they're secretly the same company or what, but same gear and same price from what I've seen. Right now I'm a Pinn fan, but I might try AML some day

I'm hungry and it's almost time for the gym. Arm's feeling a little better today so I'm going to go screw it up again.

No pain no gain right?

If micro-tearing muscle fibers increases overall size when they heal, would ripping them completely lead to ultimate gains!?

Hmm... I'm probably gonna go with pinn. They're like $5 cheaper for test anyways lol.

I'm going to go into home inspecting. (actually really seriously thinking about it)
I'm not sure what sort of education they require but I just paid my guy $440/hour.
I actually looked into that and the tests are pretty hard as well as the fact most require you to be bonded. From what I remember (this was the late 90's when I looked into it), the bond needed (in my old state) was 50k. Pretty big startup costs, but if you have a good couple realtors that can take care of you - you're set. This is provided the housing market doesn't take another shit of course. ;)

Both are pretty hard. The hard part is knowing the code applicable for each section; which requires you also know a bit about each of the trades. Unless of course you want to sub out to each trade for that part of the inspection, which some guys do.

So George Farah has been coaching The Rock since 2010.... this would explain a lot.
As Dwayne Johnson is my template that I hope to achieve by the time I'm 40, explain preeze. I don't feel like googling it up. :D

I hate all the goddamn codes even on my end. 1004, 1004D, 216, etc etc etc. I can't imagine what it would be like to actually be an appraiser lol. The hard part of the NMLS is knowing which law was created on what day for what reason and who does it protect... The Graham Leach Bliley Act was instated on X day X month X year, by Joe Fuckyourself, to protect borrowers from dickhead LO's that are the reason this test was created to begin with. I'm totally gonna sit down with a borrower and as their filling out the 1003 explain to them why Reg Z was implemented to TILA so they can sue me if I ask "are you married?" instead of "what is your marital status?"

... do you not know who George Farah is? TEH ROIDZ KEENG OF TEH BODYBUILDZ?! He coaches Kai, that Mark Anthony MP pro, DLB, etc.

Does this help?

I know Mrs. P put up a thread saying we weren't to flame members for posting in old threads, but it's KILLING me to see newbs posting one-liners in all these 2004 threads! It's like we're being tested to see how long before we rage on them for making pointless posts in threads that died loooooooooong ago. :crying:

I had to vent. Thanks. :D
