Your Testosterone was 3.83??? I thought the norm was like 210-850.

The lab likely used different units then ng.

OLDGUY, can you post the reference ranges for your blood work? They should be on the report also and it would help any DR's on the board in interpreting your blood work.

Your Lipid profile SUCKS. I would get on some meds or at least some Flush Free Niacin to bring your HDL back up, you are a heart attack waiting to happen with those numbers.

I was thinking the same thing, jesus christ. Did your cycle have winstrol in it.

Yeah, I just started BP and Cholesterol meds this week.

No, never done winny.
I just started a new cycle with Methyl 1-test. I figured it might be part of the problem, but I'm only about ten days in.
My last cycle was Test cyp and 1-Test cyp.
I've been off for about 10 weeks. My test levels
are actually higher than this time last year, when I had been off for six months.
I had no idea I was this f-ed up.
My last check-up my HDL was 54 and total was 220.

My bad I thought I'd listed those.
Done

Your immediate concern should be getting your lipid profile back to normal (if it were ever normal). If it was normal before you used any Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) or supplements, then bp meds and cholesterol-lowering meds aren't the answer. The answer is diet. Get your baseline bloods normal first before starting any AAS.

why do steroids affect lipids this badly and which meds are the worst for causing this. It seems that most steroids although orals are worse cause this. I read an article claiming that because estrogen is inhibited this can cause issues is the lowering of estrogen in the body to blame?

You are correct, orals are by far the worst, and Winstrol (winny) is probably the worst of those. Driving estrogen to nonexistant levels also has detrimental affects, that is why it is probably not a good idea to run adex post cycle. I have seen people's profiles negatively affected by tren, and i have seen people who are not negatively affected by tren. Some will be more sensitive than others but these are just guidelines. If you are really concerned about your lipid profiles stay away from orals.

Testosterones more so than DECA or Ox. Exogenous Test inhibits the formation of endogenous test. This means that cholesterol isn't being used to make Test. The excess cholesterol has to go somewhere.

Is this a problem for people who are on HRT?

Just a note: Had nuclear stress test yesterday, and results were normal.
Now got to get to work raising the HDL.
