Does e2 stay elevated when you come of TRT?

Stopped my testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) four weeks ago because my wife and I would like to have a second child. Started Clomid (50 mg) to jump start my system. Testicles increased in size and I didn't really have the same crash I experienced last time I stopped testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). Here's the problem: I have a very difficult time getting an erection. Never happened before. I can watch p0rn and it takes a long time to get hard. Desire isn't an issue, I'm gtg with my wife, just can't perform!

I read somewhere that e2 might be the culprit. Would that make sense though? I would assume my e2 levels would drop with my T levels after stopping testosterone replacement therapy (TRT).

Obviously I need some blood work done and I have a requisition. Problem is that it's only for T and my doc won't test for e2 (sounds like this is a common issue). I'm in the process of finding a new doc, but until then what do you guys think?

Your T:E ratio might be thrown off, potentially causing this. My question is why stop testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) when you might be able to pursue other avenues to keep up fertility? Did you have a sperm count performed to see if it is even an option? I do know that low T can also cause issues with erections, so it's really hard to tell without having numbers. FYI: You can get your own blood test done privately for $50 through privatemdlabs.com and ordering the female blood panel. You just have to choose MALE at the very end to make sure you get the proper ranges with your report. That test includes total test/estradiol/lipids/and many other pertinent values.

Thanks for the info! I have thought about keeping testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) going as many of you do, however, my sperm test prior to coming off was a big fat zero (well, close to it). I was planning on using Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) to restart, but didn't have a source. I had Clomid from the last restart and figured it work work the same. Just weird that this time there's an erection problem. I'll get a private blood test done, but I'm in Canada so I'll have to find a place here. In the meantime, do you think Viagra would be a quick fix?
