DOing pushups everyday

Well i HAVE to do 25 push-ups a day and even after chest day does this prevent my chest from growing?
 
If its only 25 i wouldnt worry much really. You do want to let muscle groups rest so they dont get over trained though
 
yeah dont do push ups on chest days or the day after or before, i do pushups when i do legs and abs at the end of the week, but i do 200-300 of them, sets of 50 imbetween my abs
 
Doing 26 pushups a day won't effect your recovery, I am assuming a pushup for you does not induce the same amount amount of stress as a bench press :) though for some really out of shape people it may.

In the military it was unavoidable, I found that because of the ease of doing pushups it acted more like a good stretch rather than a hindrance or over training.
