Most will agree that a regular dosing schedule is required for T injections. But if the best schedule happens to not line up with a weekly timeframe, there still needs to be a good way to plan injections.
I've seen people do twice weekly, with one in AM and one PM to get very close to a 3.5 day split. I've also seen m/w/f, with an elevated dose on Friday. All sorts of stuff.
I intend to experiment with the frequency to see what works best, especially since I've read that some do better with a longer time between injections than a shorter time.
So the only attachment to the week is it helps you remember. You could say every other, every third, every X days...but makes it harder to remember than once a week.
Has anyone here played with days of the month for this purpose instead? So on an every 4 day schedule you would inject on the 1st, 5th, 9th, 13th, etc. The only thing you have to remember is to account for the difference at the end of the month.
So on that e4d schedule, last dose in March would be on the 29th. The 30th and 31st need to be accounted for, so either add 1/4 dose to the 29th and to April 1st, or just bump one or the other by 1/2 dose.
I don't know if I'll ever do this or not, but if you really want to try out different frequency approaches without a lot of work to remember, it's an idea.
