Eating Fast Food Everyday

rocko419

Hello ???
Ok so I might get some crap for this question but what the heck.
Can you eat for growing and training purposes (Fast Food)
As in McDonalds ,Burgerknig, wendys, Sub’s, Cubans fast food.
And Pancake House or Denny’s and so on? Over the Years I Tried to pre make the potatoes and the chicken and the eggs and the pasta and so on and so on But now a days I find it to difficult to do so It’s fast food every day morning noon and most nights. ON the rear occasion my wife might bless me with her cooking. Not as good as it sounds..So What do you think about that? Is it absurd to eat like that
and to think It’s ok to do so? Just wondering what people have to say about it...Thanks Mike

Sure you can, just gotta make the right menu choices. Imo theres very little difference between having a fast food grilled chicken sandwich or eating a chicken breast and rice at home. Just watch the fat intake. As long as you can meet your protein requirements without exceeding your caloric requirements for the day, have at it.

Personally I dont really consider Subway a bad choice due to the fact your in complete control of what goes in your sandwhich.
Obviously fast food has a negative affect on your body (anyone who's seen super size me will understand what im talking about) but out of the above I'd say subway is the best option.

Once in a while aint gonna kill ya but as for using fast food as a bulker I'd strongly recommend against it unless you have no problem with high salt, trans and sat fat intake.

The main problems that come to mind are the fat its cooked in and the quality of meat. A Mc Chicken sandwhich would seem to be just processed shit wrapped in batter and fried in sunflower oil, I cant compare that to a chicken breast cooked in olive oil and say there equal. even if they are equal in protein content, overall carbs and fats are gonna be way off.

Im not talking about deep fried chicken sandwiches, they all offer grilled. I specified that in my last post too.

Saying fast food has a negative effect on your body is just a bad generalization. Like i said you need to sift thru the menu and make good choices. Of course you dont want to eat greasy burgers and fries but they have other options. Are you telling me that a salad is bad all of a sudden because it comes from a fast food restuarnt? Of course not, thats silly.

Heres some decent options from different resturants. These items have little or no trans and sat fat but they do have sodium so beware of that if youre anal about retaining water:

Wendys: Grilled chicken sandwich, chili. An occasional double cheeseburger isnt too bad relative to other fast food burgers as they use higher quality meat here so its lower in fat and higher in protein.

Subway: Oven roasted chicken breast or Steak and cheese footlong on wheat. Both these subs have around 50g of protein.

Taco bell: Grilled steak taquitos, grilled steak or chicken tacos (go light on the dressing). Just watch out for menu items with processed liquid cheese and sour cream. They add up to alot of extra calories.

Burger king: Tendergrill chicken with light mayo, Tendergrill chicken salad.

Filet o Fish has 450 cal and 23g protein 28g fat
Quarter pounder 640 cal 38g prot and 30g fat

Those are all good choices to I like everthing you mentioned. Good choices Thanks...

Youre eating almost as much fat as protein and thats what i was talking about. youve only got 160g protein in all that and its almost 3000 cals with over half of those cals coming from fat. Now say you eat my example meal 6 times in a day. 3000 cals and im getting close to 300g protein and only 78g fat. See the difference? Thats what i shoot for.

Bro I'm gonna take that advice. I understane what your saying but still my question how much fat should a guy have by the end of the day? OK I guess the less the better but still in the real world how much fat. Or ok let me ask you how much fat do you think you cnsume in a day?
And do you have any other fast food ideas? Please..

I like to try and keep my macros floating at: fat 20% carbs 35% protein 45%. which means on most days I take in under 40-50g.

Estray: No offense intended before Im only goin off what we have served over here in the U.K, no Wendy's or taco bell and our Burger Kings and Makki D'S arnt the best TBH they offer 'grilled chicken' and I see them drop it in the fryer thats what I was going off, thats why Im all for a sub.

Well, on a bulker i eat around 100-125g of fat per day. Thats on a 4000 cal diet. Im also mindful of what kind of fat it is. Usually 30-40g of that fat comes from fish oil and natty peanut butter. And drako, i dont knwo what kind of strange country you live in but in the US if its called grilled, its not cooked in the deep fryer, its cooked on the grill, hence the name. If its breaded, it is deep fried.

Lol...Thats all right Draco We still love the UK after all right or wrong it was you guys that stood with the US over there in Arab land..

So Estray thats the answer I was looking for. So atleast I can have a guide line of sort to kinda go by. That was grate Thanks...I was really never all that into the diet part of working out. Now don't get me wrong over the years I went through my Phases and ate a bunch of pasta eggs potatoes and what ever else but I just really never got a real good understanding of the exact proper amount of carbs and protein and complex this and simple that and on and on.. Basically I just ate what ever when ever and luckily I have all ways had a very high motabolizem so I have all ways been fat free. Thanks again Guys...Mike

Drako is right for the most part. Mcdonalds and most other places do fry their burgers.
Burger King and Wendy's don't. I don't know how Mcdonalds grills their new premium chicken breasts but those things are good.

i eat subway almost everyday, i fucking love the tuna sub on wheat, sometimes double meat, 8 full scoops of tuna, thats at least 2 cans of tuna if not more, looking at 50-60g protein, mayo they use is light mayo also... subway is the shit!!!
