Effects of Deca on Hematocrit

Since I'm about to start my first Deca cycle (5th cycle total), I have been doing my due diligence on the compound and read that it dramatically increases red blood cell count in contrast to other compounds. Because I am on TRT, I give blood every two months but still find my hematocrit is closer to the line than I would like. On Deca, should I expect a quicker increase in hematocrit or would it be similar to a Testosterone blast in that department?

I'm actually getting bloods to check this morning to check those things as well; i've been on deca now for about 5 weeks so i'll let you know my results. Even if your rbc or hemo is too high, giving blood seems to be the quickest solution to bring it down

I'm on deca year-round, and find little difference between deca + test and test by itself in that regard. This is the first time I've heard of nandrolone being responsible for hematocrit elevation, usually it's boldenone.

There's always platelet apheresis if whole blood isn't cutting it for you.

I have never heard of deca raising hematocrit more than testosterone does. Nor has it done so in my personal experience.

Good to know, and also why you can't believe everything you read on the Internet. I found the info in a general search on deca, but it was light on detail other than to specify a "dramatic increase in red blood cell count" being key to its effectiveness, so I wanted to be sure. This helps

I have no issue with giving blood; and being O Negative they love to get it. But the stupid place I give will only let me give every two months. Would be happy to do it monthly

I am still in to find the reason for increased RBC due to compounds! I still believe the increased RBC is due to increased musclemass thereby the need for oxygen or even ATP through red blood cells... Since musclegrowth and those doing roid cycles are into bodybuilding, it would seem fitting that the higher musclemass the more RBC.

People that smoke cigarets ruin their lungs, and the oxygen transportation becomes a problem to muscle tissue and alike. Body can do 2-3things to react this;
1. Increase pulse thereby pumping blood faster and increasing oxygen transportation
But an increased pulse is often equal to stress and would by no Means be healthy for the body to run onn for longer periods.
2. Increase RBC to compensate for the lact of oxygen from lungs.
Smokers
3. Bodybuilderes like smokers, instead of an increased pulse the body raises RBC to transport oxygen.. Would seem to be a less of a stressfull state for the body

^^ Im guessing around, i am still trying to find out why.. Any one have some input

Deca does make my HCT levels rise. 200/week is no problem long term but much higher and I have to start donating regularly. Adding the same amount of test or even tren doesn't cause me any issues. Never tried EQ.

Blood donation centers only allow whole blood to be donated every 56 days. There are medical reasons for this.

I thought I explained about red bone marrow. Well, here's some reading material on top of what Tron provided:

stamina is always beast on deca..

moderat test, higher deca with letro and prammi
