Does anyone know the effects of steroids on semen if any? My girlfriend is concerned about the effects of steroids on her. She also claims it tastes different. I'm tired of hearing the bitching. Please help. Thanx.

Gear will lower your sperm count, but does not effect your semen. I can understand it tasting different, because the tast is supposed to be determined by what you eat. Personally, I've never tasted the shit. A woman doctor or sex doctor will tell you to eat sweet fruits like strawberry or pinapple to make it taste better.

I beg to differ and do feel that when your testes go dormant Your fluids are lessened thus make your semen more clumpy and at a lower sperm count.

Actually, seminal fluid is produced in the prostate...NOT the testicles. So, i would think that hypogonads would not actually cause decreased ejaculate volume.

when im on cycle my semen gets thick as hell and has more volume as well.i can shoot a load about 10 feet farther than normal.LOL.....and i thought that sperm count went up with test...but im not a doctor.

Sperm (the microscopic "swimmers") is produced in the Testicles and is added to the seminal fluid at the time of ejaculation. Lastly, the gear you inject or swallow (tabs) is processed by the liver, turned into metabolites if not shuttled into the bloodstream, and then excreted in the urine. It is NOT possible for gear to be added to your semen (pantie mustard, man-mayo, etc.).

The only reason I would question that is the taste is determined by what you eat. To me that means some way or another food has to get into the the seminal fluid. Pinapple juice makes it sweet, grapefruit juice bitter. So if I'm injesting roids (D-bol, A bombs,etc), wouldn't it make sense to think maybe it's a possibility that some could get in there?

I can see your path of logic...seminal fluid is mostly fructose, the same sugar found in fruits. It counters the acidity of the vagina to keep the sperm alive. The pathway for synthetic hormones put into your body is to either be utilized by the testosterone receptor sites or to eventually be emptied into the bladder via urine and excreted from the body as metabolites (you do not piss out the pure, intact hormone).
