Your knowledge has been proven most helpfull to the community as a whole and I believe you should at least get a sticky with all your articles in one thread! Yes I heard of them. They're fine. Nicotine is good in moderation. Tobacco and paper is what kills people.

I don't know how you live in Amman and not smoke argeelah everyday. I would!

The liver is incredibly resourceful. Often times medicinal alcohol will be used to treat ingestion of certain harmful substances such as anti-freeze. I've even read a few cases the hospital was out of stock and vodka was picked up from a local liquor store and used. So much alcohol is pumped in, and the liver comes out and repairs itself after getting its shit rocked from alcohol and anti-freeze poisoning. People wouldn't expect the liver to be partially responsible for the release of erythropoietin either. Just a remarkable organ.
