Expired HCG (May 2012) -- Still good?

I have a vial of 5000iu still in powder form (haven't mixed in the bacteriostatic water yet). It expired May 2012. Is it still good? Also, is 5000iu enough to last me a full 16 week cycle?
 
It should still be good so long has it was store right. get a prego test and drip some on it. if its + then its good. the stronger the Line the better it is going to be. 5000 is enough if you just take 250mcg per week.

Doesn't it degrade and loose potency when stored over a month, so it will get weaker and weaker after 4 weeks in the fridge

Hmm... I had it stored in a cool dry place but not in the fridge (I thought you only had to put it in the fridge AFTER you add the bac water?)

Maybe I'm just better off ordering some more. Wish RUI carried it... :/

yes your right, this is only after its mixed. Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) will last up to 60days after its mixed and stored in the fridge.
so yes i see your point 16 weeks will be beyond the expire time after its mixed. very good point.

Intredasting... so instead of getting a 5,000iu vial I should get a few smaller ones and mix them up as I run out? So they stay fresh?
 
yeah , get some more man , dont play with your recovery , if it has an expiry date its there for a reason, more then likely its lost some potency
 
Should still be good man, even after recon-ed Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) does not lose its potency for way longer than most people think.

Pretty sure you need a couple of ml's to squirt on the test strip to get an accurate reading.
