For that past few weeks, after training back with weighted pull-ups and heavy pull downs, I've had some issues with what I think is my extensor carpi radialis longus.
It's hard to describe, but if I flex my bicep and turn my wrist outward, it feels as though the muscle is "rolling" and my arm will sort of lock up. I'll slowly release and it "rolls" back into place. Only happens on heavy back days, and only the night of and sometimes the day after. It doesn't really hurt, just feels awkward.
Has anyone ever had an issue like this?
I'm not sure if it's caused by a muscle imbalance? Or if I'm just training too heavy, or what. I'm a fairly small guy(5'5" 165lbs/lean) but my back is really strong for my size compared to my other muscle groups. My lifts are slow and controlled, form is on point.
Thanks for any help...
