female trt specialist?

I have been dealing with a male endocrinologist for about 2 months now because I have done 2 cycles of gear, one at the age of 17 and the next cycle was at 18 and shut down my natty testosterone production pretty bad and I feel like he doesn't know much about how to get me to recover or if its even possible..

I have a opportunity to see a low testosterone and TRTspecialists ..but she is a female..

Should I even try her out?

How does a woman possibly know what its like to be shutdown..they can't really do a huge cycle and know what it felt like..would I just be wasting my time?

Thanks,

Do you need to know what cancer or schizophrenia feel like through personal experience to be a medical professional who is skilled in treating them? Why would treating a hormone deficiency be any different? Most male doctors treating you will not have had their natty T production shut down from past cycles either.

Exactly what I was thinking. Don't doubt her knowledge based on her being female, she maybe 3 times as knowledgeable then the male dr you have been seeing. Dr's are trained to treat by illness not sex, a male and a female of the same exact weight may have to take a different size dose of a specific medication. You may actually get more sympathy from her then the male dr. Locally here the most popular urologist is female and she prescribes test like a vending machine does skittles. Good luck but I'd deff check her out.

Rite on man, I feel you on that one..I just felt like it was more of a male experience type thing..guess just explaining allthe problems to her will be quite eembarrassing lol

Tell her you are worried about testicle atrophy and have here measure them now and again after you have been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). Might as well get some benefits out of having a female doc. :-)

Agree with megatron ^^^^^...personally the best doc i ever had was a woman. I hated the day she moved out of state....
