Fertility on TRT

I'm 34 and I have 2 beautiful little girls, 4 and 6 who I swear are responsible for the gray chin hairs. So the wife and I wanted one more hoping for that boy. I was on testosterone therapy about 4 years ago for low T. I was didn't feel myself and around this time I fell through a deck slamming my right testicle on a joist. After a month of pain the doctor had an ultrasound done. Nothing like the awkwardness yet joy of a hot woman rubbing your balls under a blanket in a dark room with an ultrasound wand lol. The test came back normal but blood work showed my testosterone at 285. He said let's test again in 6 months, now I was around 225.

So after 6 months of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) the endo I saw suggested I come off test because I didn't need it, he could jump start me on Clomid if I don't naturally bounce back in 6 months. During this time I left state for a while, natural for a couple of years, went to the dr and got testosterone again because my levels were still low, 245.

Now I've been on testosterone for about 8 months Andy balls shrank and I'm shut down hard. The endo I just saw only wants me to take Clomid but I know I need to find hcg. Does anyone have a recommendation for dosing Clomid and hcg while on testosterone for fertility?

Thanks man, yea I'm starting to dig through some stickies right now. The endo basically tried telling me that I'll never be fertile again while on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). So he's telling me come off and run Clomid alone. I swear these guys just want to collect a co-pay.

My sperm count was 14 million/ml

been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for almost 3 years. been taking Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) as well. Just found out I got my girl friend pregnant. I am 45yrs old as well.

so dont think testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) will make you steriol. I found out the hard way.

it will reduce sperm count, and over time will make it more difficult to get pregnant , clomid or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) will help keep things working at a higher level

I was reading I should be doing 100 iu daily since I'm on a testosterone gel called testim. Would I run hcg and Clomid together for maybe 4 weeks then after that give it a break for a couple months, keep on mt testim the whole time. Then maybe after 6 months repeat again?

usually you dont run testosterone with Clomid, it would be anti productive I would think. I guess you could probably do HCG and Clomid at the same time.

But as fertility yes testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) has killed my fertility, taking HCG now to try and correct it. I know many people can still have kids and things like HCG and Clomid can help, and testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) isnt necessarily going to make you sterile,

But if you are NEW to this take warning, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) can affect your ability in having children, it happened to me

Correct, there is no point in taking Clomid with HCG either. HCG is suppressive at the pituitary, Clomid stimulates the pituitary, very counterproductive.

I now see why Clomid should be post cycle therapy (pct) only then. Thanks for the feedback guys. It's making a lot more sense to me now.

Male fertility physician prescribed me HRT of 25mg Clomid and 1mg Arimidex 3x per week. I wanted HRT while maintaining fertility.

Still too early to tell. I was not on test.

Get a sperm count done in a few months. There are also ways to do this such as IUI and so forth but that is typically done by womens fertility specilists.

Would like to know how your test went. I am facing going on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) in a week or so, if my current restart program does not work.

Before I say this, I know a year long cycle is stupid. But, I did take a loooong cycle that included deca, tren, and lots of test. Didn't take clomid or HCG. My son is a product of this shenanigan. It may make it more difficult, but it does NOT sterilize you. I was on and off for a couple of years without sufficient PCT.

It was hell coming out of that bottomless pit.
