Finally bloodwork numbers for you guys to see

Some of you know my history & my struggles & I think getting pissed that I didn't have any current numbers to show. So here it is, let me know what you think, my follow up with my doc is on Thursday but I wanted to get your thoughts before my meeting so I grabbed the labs this morning. Here is a PDF of my blood work, as I have no clue what I am looking at.

Aside from a slightly higher E2 than I would personally want, everything else looks really good to me. You're also on the borderline for hyperthyroidism, based on your TSH and FT3 numbers. Then again, I am not a doctor and would recommend seeing what they have to say about that. That's a crazy range for that lab on Total test, 700 for an upper range? Hah!

All my other testosterone ranges were alot higher, I don't get that either. My vitamin D is low as far as I can see. I am definately going to talk to the Doc about the estrogen, I would love to have known what it was at when my Test was 1900. Borderline Hyperthyroid? everything is in range tho.

A TSH as low as yours may indicate you're heading in that direction, not that you are yet hyperthyroiditic. Yes, your D is a hair low - but that is easy to fix usually. Your doc didn't mind you having a total test of 1900ng/dL?!

When it hit 1900 & she left me un monitored for months while on the trochies, I fired her & found someone that specializes in male hormones. She has me on 100mg of test cyp a week, this test is after being on it for 4 weeks. My thyroid was a little low about 4 months ago & the endocronolgist put me on tapazole for a few months & ran a blood test & just said it all in range quit the tapazole, so I have been off that for a couple of months now.

any concerns over total t and free t? Your total T is 1178 on day 6? Your probably pushing 2000 on day 2 or 3. Im not sure if you can maintain these numbers for a long period of time. Also your free T is very high, which is not always a good thing.

What do you think about my estrogen level? because it seems that since being on some kind of testosterone for the last 7 months be it trochies to test cyp, there has been a couple weeks where I felt normal like my old self & I suspect that I hit my perfect range of testosterone & estrogen then blow past it & feel like crap again. Wondering if an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) would do me any good at that high of test.

Ahh, that explains things a bit. So you were slightly hypo and they put you on meds which give a pre-hyper profile. Interesting.

I'd definitely look into a low dose Aromatase inhibitor (AI) man. Most guys feel optimal between 20-30pg/mL, but of course we're all different.

swing.....although your E2 is showing high at 47, I would not be so quick to believe that your true E2 is elevated. Reason being, it doesnt look like you did a Estradiol Sensitive test, just a regular Estradiol test. Regular Estradiol Serum tests will usually be 10-20 points higher than the Estradiol Sensitive score. My last labs showed my Estradiol Serum at 49 (flagged high), but my Estradiol Sensitive score was 24(which is what most people on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) strive for)! I would suspect that your true E2, or better put, the E2 score that WE reference, would probably be somewhere in the upper 20's or lower 30's. The only true way to find out would be to go back and get a Estradiol Sensitve test.

My thyroid was low, so I was slightly hyperthyroid. Which is why they put me on Tapazole.

I definately want to try it & luckily I found a doc who asks me what I think instead of telling me what to do.
