I just finished injecting test cyp 100 mg (yes I know, barely did shit...gained maybe 5 lbs of muscle but thats what my Dr. started me on)
I injected this for 16 weeks and my test levels jumped to 1100 and obviously my natty test was suppressed so my Dr gave me a script to HCG (next time I will run HCG DURING).
My testes atrophied a little bit so I'm hoping this HCG will plump them back up because I've needed a cialis a couple times....
So I just picked up a 10ml vial of HCG at pharmacy today, Problem is my Doc prescribed me to 2.5ml 2X's per week! Isn't this way too much?!

Depends on how many ius it is per ml. Also having your testes atrophy shouldn't cause you to be lacking sex drive since you are on test but I can tell you what I think your problem may be. Are you using an Aromatase Inhibitor for estrogen control? I suggest you get your E2 checked. I bet it is running high which would cause a drop in sex drive even though you are running test. I would ask your doctor about getting your blood test for E2 levels and maybe ask him about an Aromatase inhibitor many docs are not up on this and will not give you an Aromatase inhibitor (AI). In this case I would get some aromasin and run it at 12.5mgs e3ds. Get another blood test to check for estrogen and see if you are in range. I am assuming you are on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) by the way.

HCG is purely cosmetic for a guy on HRT unless he is planning on get off HRT one day or having kids. Otherwise it is just for looks. Not worth it for me.

yea it sounds like your trying to cycle off, which is not what you wanna do if you have very low T levels naturally.

I have to disagree a little about HCG being purely cosmetic though. It does stimulate the p450 side chain enzyme. this is more or less something at the pituitary and controls the manufacturing of hormones. things like pregnenolone, TSH cortisol and testosterone.

so basically it allows you to feed more raw material (cholesterol) for the manufacturing of hormones.

The flip side can happen though by using HCG with your TRT. You can rob preg from the cortisol line, or other lines, and this can cause side effects. this is called the pregnenolone steal. A lot of people don't believe it exists, im sure it does though.

sides such as improper thyroid function, or high emotional stress due to low levels of cortisol.

My levels before I started were actually "normal" at around 600...I went to my Dr. with symptoms of someone with low test so when I asked my Doc to try out the test he was cool with it
TGB- I havent got my estrogen levels checked so that might be a good idea, thanks.
