Finally joining the Darkside! Z test and dbol.

Pulls

Close grip pulldowns-245x10, 8, 5, 4=27 Goal passed +4 Reps
Hammer iso lateral rows-415x8, 7, 5, 3=23 +10 lbs
Deadlifts-345x8, 7=15 Goal passed +10 lbs
Alternate db curls-ran up and down the rack starting with 10s, ending with 35s in 5 lb increments, 10 reps a set on the way up, to failure on the way down.

Still steadily making progress. A few sides are starting to kick in, lol but I welcome them cause it confirms my gear is legit ;)

A tad bit of acne, really just one pimple that has popped up on my cheek but I quickly nipped that in the bud with some cream. Also the boys aren't atrophied but have been tightening up lol. Also, irritability has been present for a little while, but I keep it in check and maintain a calm demeanor due to my awareness of this.

I'm starting to fill out nicely, and am looking good and pumped while at the gym. I'm starting to get looks from other regulars, and the strength gains are packing on steadily and quickly. Today I noticed around my lats and rear delts I felt a bit of tightness, but persisted anyway (knowing my body, that it wasn't injury prone) and I realized that this must be typical for the joints to lag behind the muscular gains.

Due to this, depending on how I'm feeling, I may skip my next session to give my body an extra day of rest and recovery. I realize that just because I'm geared doesn't mean I'm bullet proof and want to maintain the gains, and am a big believer in time off every now and then to keep growing and progressing.

Other than that all is well.
 
Gonna kill the pushes tomorrow. I took Sunday off to give my body a quick bit of rest inbetween to prolong progress. Food intake is on point, and just did my pin, so I will be raving to go tomorrow!
 
Nice log. Yeah with the joints lagging behind that is so true. I always try to incorporate deca, eq, or anything else that helps white tissue production. While this doesn't eliminate possibility of injury I beleive it helps out a lot, especially when the cycle is over. Hopefully by then you have strong joints. ALL about the joint health!

DB lat raises-ran up and down the rack, made it up to the 40s this time

This test must be starting to kick in cause something was starting to come over me by the time I was on the leg presses. I'm starting to just throw these weights around with ease, aggression is up, and libido is way way up!

Can't wait to hit my pulls Thursday!
 
keep posting, I read this log daily. i just started a test 400 dbol and deca (for the joints) cycle yesterday. sounds like u r getting nice results, hope my results r good too. this bosshogg workout seems pretty neat. think i might start doing this on mondays and wednesdays and then focus on just chest and cardio on fridays. keep postig and good luck with the rest of your cycle

Yea so true man, I will keep this in mind for my next cycle and probably throw an androgen in there for round 2. Along with knowing when to ease off, I also supplement with fish oils and glucosamine, and use wraps (wrist and knees) for my heavy sets.

I could not recommend this method of training high enough, it has been field tested by myself and many other bros I know. There is nothing secret or magical about it, it is just a d@mn good way to make progress and keeps things simple.

Close grip pull downs-250x12, 7, 5, 4=28 +5 lbs
Hammer iso lateral rows-415x10, 8, 7, 5=30 +7 reps
Deadlifts-365x8, 6=14 +20 lbs
Alt db curls-started with 50s x10 reps, then worked down the rack to 15s to failure. Nice PR on those 50s, they were light! I want them 70s by the peak of this cycle!

Bodyweight is hovering around 210-212, which makes for a good 10 lb gain thus far and I believe I'm still only 3 weeks in. I know at this point with the weights going up my body will have no choice but to grow. It won't be long before I'm repping 405 on the deads, pulling down the whole stack, adding another 45 on the hammer rows, and curling some big boy db's, at that point my body will have no choice but to add some mass on!

Btw, met up with an old friend I haven't seen in about a year and as soon as he saw me he was like damn bro, you have put on some mass! I was wearing a baggy shirt too, and he mentioned even wearing a bigger shirt like that he could totally tell I have put some size on. Always good to hear feedback like that!

Well gents the test has definitely kicked in at this point! No doubt I can totally feel it. I'm killing the workouts, libido is crazy, and I just have this alpha demeanor that I have been carrying. I'm loving it! It seems like chicks are just coming to me out of nowhere and I got 4 lined up already to put the libido to use on! My confidence is way up, and I don't even remember the last time I just felt this good.

Can't wait to blast my pulls tomorrow!

Good progress on the deads, on tap next is 4 pies, can't wait! Never have really gotten past 405 for more than a rep or two, and my best max was 425, so this will be good!

Happy with the curl progres too, want them 70s soon!
 
Awesome log. The training routine is quite interesting but it would have to be done right to nail it. All those sets must be done like it was your first, full of rage and explosiveness for it to work.

Absolutely. Intensity is what it is all about, and sometimes I have to really psyche up by that 3rd or 4th set, or especially for the 2nd leg press or dead set.

I'm real big on form, I would let my ego get the best of me in the past as a novice and pile the weight on only to realize later I was half repping.

I worked with the creator of this routine personally as a client prior to this cycle and he would have me send him vids of my form and I learned a lot from him on technique and all.

I don't lockout, keeping tension on the muscles, and I emphasize negatives, and maintain a good rom.

All is still well and progressing.

The only thing starting to stall a bit are the military presses but that is typical, as that is a tough one to make steady progress on.

After my first set of dips a trainer in the gym gave me props and said fawk dude you are strong as fawk! And I was like thanks man, I'm trying, and he said sh!t bro stronger than me! Nice to get positive feedback. Starting to get lots of looks in the gym.

I'm almost tempted to blast and cruise rather than cycle cause I don't want to come off lol!

Well the gym was packed today and it was a pain having to wait for equipment, but that's not what got me, what got me was my wrist strap broke on me, and I was gonna go for reps with 405 on the deads! Grrrrrr, it broke right on my 365 warm up!

So I went ahead and pulled raw, no straps, not even chalk. It flew right up for a single dead off the floor, my back and hams took it with plenty left in the tank, but my grip lagged.

Normally I pull off the rack and tap and go with straps, but this was dead raw off the floor.

Gonna get me some new straps and make that weight my b1tch next time!

Also hit 315x10 afterward just for the hell of it. Other than that added 5 lbs to my pulldowns, but called things quits after the deads. Losing the straps messed up my session, but no worries will make up for it, and will get a good push day in Thursday.

Standing military press-170x8, 7, 5, 4=24 +5 lbs
Weighted dips-125x8, 8, 7, 7=30 +10 lbs next time is 3 plates!
Leg press-825x13, 10=23 +20 lbs soon going to have to start using the top plate holders for more weight!

Ran rack on db lat raises starting with 40s. The 40s felt light this time and got 10 reps like nothing!
