He who realises reality
Hi,

I am ready to start a steroid cycle and I personally believe the following:

1. Finasteride blocks testosterone conversion to DHT therefore preventing male pattern baldness
2. Nolvadex (and other trade names) blocks estrogen conversion, therefore preventing gynecomastia

My question is (in due ackowledgement of local laws and forum rules):
Will a doctor knowingly prescribe me the above drugs is I openly admit to him that they are for an anabolic steroid cycle?

Unless you have a tres cool MD, I wouldn't admit to an AAS cycle. Ever. Most docs will enter such information into your permanent medical records. Trust me, a lot of people will have access to those records, despite what you are told.

Both drugs are cheap, non-scheduled, and easy to find on the "gray market".

Just my opinion.

I have a different perspective than most on this site regarding this topic.

I always advocate enlisting the services of a physician for the long term while doing this type of self-administration.

First, it gives you a natural fall back position in the event that anything goes awry - someone knows whats going on and could help if need.

Second, you'll have a level of assurance and peace of mind that you are not alone in this but have some knowledgeable reference.

Finally, you'll have quick and easy access to blood testing and other support for the duration.

Years ago, 21 in fact, when I started using AAS, I consulted with my family doctor and told him "look, I'm going to do this and I would like your help."

Of course, he read me the riot act but in the end he agreed and his help was very valuable. He made me come in for blood work every 60 days and he worked with me through the first 4 years of my AAS. I credit his help with my ability to avoid any side effects.

Now, explain to your MD what you re going to do and why you want the fina and nolva. Make sure he understands you are trying to do everything to minimize your risks.

Regards.
