Finishing first ever cycle... Want to make sure I've got the PCT right!

Hey guys (and gals),

I'm just heading into my last week of my 1st ever cycle (13 weeks of test e with 6 weeks of a Anavar (var) finisher) and I just wanted to run my post cycle therapy (pct) plans by some of you old pros just make sure I've got everything right. I've read some of the post cycle therapy (pct) threads and chose to go with an Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) "blast" after my cycle rather than running it all the the way through. Thus, my plan looks like this....

Week 13: Last week of test e (without Anavar (var) )

Week 14/15: OFF (waiting for test to clear)

Week 16/17: Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), 2000ius EOD

Week 18: OFF

Week 19: Clomid & Nolva @ 100mg and 40mg respectively ED.

Week 20/21/22: Clomid & Nolva @ 50mg and 20mg respectively ED.


That look about right? I'd also be taking 6.25mg of Aromasin ED all through this.

Comments? Suggestions? Should I be waiting a week between the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) and Clomid/Nolva? I believe that I read that 4 or 5 days in between was the norm but perhaps someone can clarify?

Since youre almost done your cycle i guess its no use giving you the spiel about the importance of running hCG through your entire cycle rather than blasting it. I'll never understand why guys do this.

Ask yourself this question: would you rather prevent a cold or treat it? Exactly.

Anyway, your post cycle therapy (pct) looks good bro. No need for the Aromatase inhibitor (AI) during recovery though, especially 6.5mg of Aromasin. That wont do anything at all for you. Takes a wk to spool up and has a very very short half life. Its a waste of money the way you have it lined up.

1000uis every 3 days from the day before your last pin every 3 days for 5 doses should be fine.

also 50/50/50/25 clomid
and 20/20/20/10 nolva
should be fine imo

no need for aromasin, just use it during ur blast then stop

Correct me if i'm wrong fellas. I'm not sure waiting an entire week after last Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) shot before starting clomid/nolva is best. I was under the impression 3 days would be appropriate. I could be wrong. Thoughts?

I've been taking the Aromasin all through my cycle. Should have specified that.... So you don't think there's any need for it during PCT?

TBH I read quite a few threads about Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) before I started my cycle and the camp seemed to be split as to what was the better way (blast vs. all the way through). Based on what I've read recently though I think that I'll be switching to all the way through next cycle. Live and learn I guess.

I would recommend against aromasin during post cycle therapy (pct). Supraphysiological test levels have diminished and estrogen will drop accordingly as well. Also aromasin is a steroidal Aromatase inhibitor (AI) so it can interfere with your recovery.

HCG is suppressive so it's recommended to discontinue use of it 4days prior to post cycle therapy (pct). Its usage will depend on which way you adminster it (throughout cycle or before PCT). There is even a protocol for using it during PCT but unless you're following the protocol exactly it's best just run during the cycle

During my first and only cycle I tapered off my Aromatase inhibitor (AI) (which was also aromasin) in the time between my last test-e shot and the start of my post cycle therapy (pct).

I also did the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) blast you are talking about at 1000iu ED for ten days, stopping short of my PCT by three days.

PCT:
Nolva: 40/40/20/20
Clom: 50/50/50/25

The blast worked fine and PCT went perfect. I am inclined to agree with MickeyKnox though and next time around I will be running Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) throughout.

And just so you have all the info I ran 30mg of D-bol for the first 5 weeks at 10mg doses split throughout the day. And my test-e ran for 12 weeks.

I'll wait the 4 days between Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) and clomid/nolva and try pitbull's 1000 ius ED for 10 days.
