First cycle:added benefits of Equipoise

After over a year of reading and lurking forums I've decided I'd like to hop on AAS.

I'm looking to run my first cycle and would like a little more knowledge about what to run. I know a lot of people are recommending test only first cycles but I'm not looking to gain +20lb.This is why I believe EQ only would be a good first cycle as I'd like to get dry leans "keepable" gains(10lbs) but I'm open to suggestions as I know genetic limit and a proper PCT and food are major factors.

Basically my questions are what would the best cycle be for a first timer for my goals 500mg/week test e or 600-800mg/week EQ for 12 wks.Also, what would be the added benefit of running EQ w test,more mass or more quality muscle maybe?
