I did have a question about running a kick start - would it be okay to run a little test prop EOD well I wait for the test-e to kick in? Like from weeks 1-3 or 1-4? Or would front loading the test at 1000mg the first week get me moving quick? If I added the prop EOD I'm guessing I could run the cycle for 10 weeks versus the 12 since the prop would kick in within a few days.
What part of KEEP YOUR CYCLE SIMPLE don't you understand!!!??
It's your 1st proper fucking cycle man, why do you need to frontload? Why do you need to switch esters mid-cycle?
Quite simple.... you DON'T!!!
You will grow like a weed on the cycle I laid out for you... provided your nutrition is dialed in and your training is intense and appropriate!
Okay fair enough and thanks for the reply, I do however notice there is a lot of variables across different folks or different forums as to what the "standard" is.
I had read on another popular board that it is acceptable to run the prop for the first weeks as it's test, and the test-e doesn't fully kick in until week 4-5. That is why I decided to ask here, never said I was going to do it and I don't really want to pin that often anyway to start, only curious of the take on it here.
I do have a question that I haven't been able to find an answer too... is it acceptable to go below a 1k calorie deficit well on cycle? Curious of how far you can go without being super catabolic or damage/slow your metabolism. My basic diet is fair but I will likely go thru 3J for this run.
Don't mind the way Big Ben comes across: He Only tries to steer guys in the right direction..and he knows his shit!!
I think he may have been a drill sergeant in a past life...lol
Good luck! You got a lot of great feedback to go on.
Thanks brother I appreciate it! I miss the service at times.. but now that I'm retired and I don't have to work I have so much more time to focus on this and most of all my diet. I can cook multiple times a day, and am in the house a lot so it's easy to control what I'm eating versus when I was active duty on Fort Hood or deployed in Iraq.
I'm going to follow what bigben says! I'll keep my guidance to one forum only and that will be here.
I picked up some of the supplements from the FAQ section today, the fish oil (had been using flax previously), CoQ10, ordered the NAC online and also picked up milk thistle just because. I decided to grab garlic and l-arginine as well, I had read on Pub Med studies that garlic had been great for blood pressure and supporting healthy lipid profiles. I wanted to get all the supplements here now and start them 2 months prior to starting the cycle so I know they're in my system well.
Again thanks for all the help guys, It's really appreciated!!
Hey buddy, sorry if I came across harsh yesterday, no maliciousness intended...
I'm 7 weeks out from a show now, running a few compounds (Tren being one of them) and I need to keep my temper on a leash. Which is easier said than done with the amount of troll traffic through here lately!
That being said, I stand by the 'content' of my posts - there is absolutely no requirement whatsoever to complicate this cycle. It's your 1st 'proper' run, and you will get fantastic results on single ester Test at a standard dosage provided diet is spot on and training is high intensity and conducive to hypertrophy!
Look at every cycle as a learning experience.... your one sole aim on this cycle, is to learn how your body deals with aromatization on exogenous testosterone and to find your sweet spot with your AI.... then when you run your next cycle, you know exactly what worked for you and can adjust as necessary, so if you upped your T dose, you simply up your AI accordingly - or alternatively if you add in a second compound, depending on which compound you introduce, you tweak your protocol - it really is that simple. If you start playing around with frontloading or changing up esters mid-cycle, and shit hits the fan - what have you learnt? - NOTHING!
A cycle ran without learning something - is a cycle wasted!
With regard to 'on-cycle' supplements....
I definitely recommend NAC dosed at 1200mg.
L-Arginine can help with BP on some users if this is an issue.
A decent multivitamin goes without saying.
Keep H2O levels high on cycle.
Cialis is always a great addition if you can get hold of some - 5mg works for me about an hour pre-workout.
EFA's are always a great addition, as are digestive enzymes and a fibre tablet such as psyllium husk, especially if running a calorific deficit.
Stick to the plan man, no need whatsoever to re-invent the wheel with this one.
Good luck

Interesting thread, some solid info for us newbs. Don't mean to hijack this thread but could one answer this question for me? (I'm sure it's been beaten to death)
For someone who is looking to lean out, increase vascularity, increase strength and is happy with the current amount of muscle they have would it be best to still start with 500mg test e or maybe a lower dosage of test and ending with anavar? (Assuming no bad reaction to test in first 8 weeks)
I've come across some Anavar only cycles online with pct and no test. But also came across something from a Google search:
Cycle #1
Anavar 40-50mg ED Weeks 1-8
Tribulus 5-8g ED Weeks 1-12
Avena Sativa 2-4g ED Weeks 1-12
Clomid 50mg ED Weeks 9-11
Cycle #2
Anavar 40-50mg ED Weeks 1-8
Proviron 25mg ED Weeks 3-8
Clomid 50mg ED Weeks 9-11
Cycle #3
Anavar 40-50mg ED Weeks 1-8
Test Prop 50mg EOD Weeks 1-8
Clomid 50mg ED Weeks 9-11
Would the recommendation of test only still stay the same? Or are those viable first cycles for someone just looking to gain strength, vascularity and fat loss at the midsection. (Assuming all stats are met)
And no offense taken bigben I understand. Had my other post popped up you would of seen that already.
The help is appreciated and I'm not going to just disregard it and do what I want like some folks do.
Way to take it all in bro!!
You definantly have the right attitude that it takes to learn something around here;-)
