First Cycle Log - Z-Line Test 500mg a week

Hi All:

Am a noob here and did research for months before taking the plunge. Decided on test-e from Z and now that I am five weeks into the cycle, I thought the time was right to start a log.

First, some background:

1. Stats: 36yo, married with kids, working out 15+ years...very seriously last five plus years. Have definitely reach my natural max.

Am endomorph without doubt with some mesomorph. In 2008, high weight was 252.5 (lots of fat, lots of muscle). Gave up weights for five months and did cardio and lost enough to bring me down to a low of 201.5. Lost lots of size with it. Arms went from 18.5 to 16.5.

2. Diet: Pretty good and boring. Lots of chicken, beef, brown rice, veggies, fruit, protein shakes and tuna. I could eat the same stuff every day if I could. Weekends, I splurge....pizza at times, pop, beer, etc.

3. Goals: Maintain waist size and add 15-20lbs of muscle SAFELY.

4. Why Z? Heards lots of good things and lots of crap. Decided to give him a try to set the record straight for me. Customer service is superb!

My plan is to update weekly by adding to previous log entry:

Started July 6....injections twice a week on Wed and Sun


Week 1: First shot - used a 25G 1" for quads. Bad mistake. My legs are very muscular and I almost could not walk due to a limp for the next 4 days. Staying away from quads unless absolutely necessary.

Second shot - in the glute....no problem. Think I will like glutes.

Workout: No difference. May have felt a little more tired than usual. Needless to say, I skipped legs. Tried to do some leg curls as suggested on the boards to ease the pain the quad, but no luck.

Ending weight: 204.5lbs

Week 2 Both shots in glute (alternate cheeks) with no problems. Workouts seemed regular. No difference noted.

Ending weight: 207lbs

Week 3 First shot of week is in the delt. Was hard as heck to inject but still made it. Almost immediately after pin was withdrawn, my vision got blurry (black spots, etc.) and I started sweating profusely. For a while, I thought it did not look good. Am told it was Vasovagal Response by JEDI-D.U.I. No more delts for me.

Second shot was in the glute. Whew....much better.

Other notes: No difference in the gym, but I am damn hungry all the time. And horny. Also, was supposed to start HCG alongside the first test shot of week, but did not realize I had to order a sterile vial to mix (noob mistake). Order from RUI. Arrives Saturday, so I start my HCG on back to back days. Doing along with test shots on same days in future. Am seeing some acne

Ending weight: 210.5lbs

Week 4 Both shots in glute. Overall, glutes have some soreness, but nothing too bad. Two days before second pin, I notice some more definition in chest and arms.

Workouts are also getting better. Back up to lifting 100lb dumbbells on incline press. Not as tired either during workout. Am hungry, and did I mention horny?

Ending weight: 211lbs

Week 5 First pin in glute. Some soreness, but not too bad. Going nuts in the gym, and energy levels are up.

Damn, vial did not last me 10 shots. Lasted me 8.5. Will attribute this to noob status. Will see how second vial goes.

Will update after second pin of week.

Thoughts? Comments? Questions?

Week 5 - Done. Second shot of week was in glute. Got a little scared when I pulled out the pin and some blood squirted out. I could have passed a vein during injection. After initial blood, there was nothing.

Workouts have been good. Am a little more moody now, but cannot attribute to test. Have a lot of stress in daily life.

Weight: 212 after 5 weeks

Week 6

Update - Weight has me a little concerned. Down to 210lbs. Workouts are unbelievable as are pumps when working out biceps. Libido still through roof, and strength is increasing.

May change diet a little.
 
nice log well done. just a note on the loss of ml per vial. if you are using a draw pin. (hopefully so) and changing to a inject pin there will be some loss. tip for the newbs never assume a 10ml vial will be or last ten injections. keep up the log. hardpr
 
I see youre concerned with losing a couple pounds. What are your cals/macros like? Perhaps youre not eating enough, or not eating the right things. Also are you running an AI?

Have an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) on hand, but have not used it since I have seen no need to do so.

My diet is OK, but I think it is my training as in overtraining. I was doing six days a week with 3 days on followed by an off day. Will cut back and report in future posts.

Week 7 is now in the books. Weight gain has me concerned. This week, I am up 1 pound to 211. Total gain is 6.5lbs. I have to factor into the equation that I have been lifting a long time and am already bigger than some at 6' and endomorphic.

At this point, I am stuffing so much into my system at least 6 times a day. At least two shakes, multiple snacks throughout the day, and eating 3-4 main meals. Have grown to like sweet potato, which is good.

Also, I am stuffing my system with anything at this point.....fruit, veggies, protein (chicken, meat, sausage, fish), and even some crap on weekends (party this weekend, so cakes and cookies were to be had) and some beer - but that is the exception.

Have also found that my system cannot hold tuna down for long.

Will update next week.

Have noticed more definition in arms and veins are popping like mad. But shit, has food gotten expensive.

Anyone think that Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) can be holding back my weight gain?
 
Week 8 Update

Strength is way up, although I still can't get to 315lb bench press. I am starting to believe it is because I am tall and have longer arms. The physics may not work in my favor.

Pumps are insane. Need less stress at work, but we all need to make a living.

Big difference when I work out LESS and adjusted my food intake for higher weight.

ENDING WEIGHT: 213lbs Total weight gain thus far: 8.5lbs. Waist size is the same. Wish it were more. Wondering if I should add D-Bol.

Worst part thus far? The eating......man, I feel like I need to take 15 dumps a day.

Absolutely. 6 days a week of training does not leave much time for other parts of life. Plus, I was too sore, tired, and stressed - stressed that I always had to find a time to get in the gym.
 
Week 10 Update

No real changes. Weight up to 217lbs. Strength still good. Next week will be interesting. Headed on a mini vacation, but should not disrupt cycle....although will not be able to take Stane (AI) for three days. Also, will likely hit the gym twice next week instead of four, but may be a good thing.

Think I may extend cycle beyond 12 weeks given how long it took for test to kick in.
 
Week 11 Update

Wow, weight is now up to 224lbs!! Am concerned about water weight though with that much of a jump in one week. This is the last week of D-Bol. Very happy with gains. Will extend test an additional 3 weeks to make a 15 week cycle for first cycle.

Diet this past week was bad. Was in Vegas for the Olympia and food is expensive there and schedule was thrown off.
 
Haha dude ya totally feel ya on quads pain.. My first pin in quads left me limping for 2 days haha. I had to lie and say I god hurt at gym. My glute was about the same. For me shoulders has Been the best for my work sced
 
Week 12 Update

Weight is down to 220.5, but am not concerned given the huge weight increase last week and my concern about water weight. Gym performance is still good. Eating everything in site - Mostly good and some junk. To me, it is all about eating. Waist is still the same size. Let's hope it stays the same.

This is last week for DBol. Test is going another 3 weeks.

Question: Will need to mix another vial of HCG given I am going out 3 more weeks. How long is HCG good for in the fridge? Til my next cycle in the spring?
 
Week 13 Update

No big update this week. Weight is 223.5. Would really like to improve chest to waist ratio since DBol added a lot of mass. Need to cut after cycle.

Acne is a problem. Also, am tired as heck and cannot stay up past 9:00. Could this be from the cycle?

Something has been going around with the weather changing, so I was a little sick this week, but still hit the gym.

Arms are 17 7/8". Still need to reach goal of 18"

Here are some stats from the gym:

Incline Bench Press: 100lbs (each hand) for 12. I truly feel I can handle 120s if present
Flat Bench Press: Same as incline, although I feel stronger on incline. Gave up on barbell.
Biceps: EZ Curl - 45lb plate + 5lbs on each side for 7, 70lb dumbbell hammer curls
Triceps - Whole stack for pushdows, 45lb plate + 10lbs on each side for 7 for skull crushers
Back - 315 deadlift for 6

Overall, am fairly happy. Just need to cut.
 
Week 14 Update

Well, one week to go. Unfortunately, I will have to take at least the next week off from the gym. I was doing hammer curls with 70lb dumbbells and re-aggravated my left bicep tendonitis. Last time I had this (pre-cycle), I worked through it and it spread to my shoulder knocking me out for a month.

Weight is at 223.5, and last injection is next week.
