First cycle starting today, have some questions

Today, I got my gear, but this is my first cycle so I figured I'd get some input from you guys. I know a lot will say to keep it to only test for the first cycle, but do I really need to worry about a bit of dbol before the test kicks in?

I'm 24, 5'10, and 160lbs. I have a pretty thin runners frame, I used to just run a lot and not have a great diet, and then broke up with fiancee so I joined a gym, and started eating well. I just started but now that I have my gear, I have very good motivation to go all out with the right diet and exercise. Going for pure bulk up right now.

So far my plan is:

500 mg Test Cyp week 1-10
20mg dbol week 1-4
.5 mg arimidex e3d week 1-10 (should I split up the pill and take 1/3 every day? I will ramp up dose if any gyno signs)

Just Clomid for post cycle therapy (pct). No HCG or anything my first time.

Diet: 4000-4500 cals and about 200 g/protein a day. I'm still figuring out my exact daily diet (I plan on lots of chicken breast, tuna, and some eggs, beef, dairy, and nuts, and more fruits/veggies) Is it true that over 2.5g/kg of protein is too much?

Any supplements besides a multivitamin I should get? I heard about glucosamine. I'll be getting milk thistle for the the dbol, anything else easy to pick up for the liver I should get?

Also, is it useful to use clomid at points during my cycle instead or in addition to arimidex for any reason?

The d-bol is not a good idea at all.

useless to take clomid during this cycle. and without d-bol, needeless to run arimidex to.

just 10 days after last injection, run clomid one pill/day for 15 days is enough.
 
At a quick glance:

Go 12 weeks with Test minimum. I like using Nolva & Clomid for post cycle therapy (pct) (each one has its own purpose: Nolva for gyno & Clomid for recovery of natural TEST). At your height and weight you really need to make sure your diet is in check or you will be wasting time and money.

20mg of Dbol is not going to get you much results, I would go with 30mg and go up from there. Definitly, having some high protein shakes around the house is going to be a great idea (easy, quick).

In my honest opinon- You dont need roids until you get around 200lbs being the size that you are. You need a solid diet and a good routine. I'd 3 months and see what you can do on your own.

I have the dbol already, so I would like to use it somewhat, and the idea of a kick start sounds much better than waiting another 4 weeks for the cyp to hit. If 20mg for 4 weeks isnt a good idea then what about 20mg for 2 weeks? 10mg for 4 weeks? What is the downside to dbol that I missed? I just heard it was water gains but I'm doing test as well to nullify that, so I must be missing something.

I have worked out some already, but never with the right diet, and never going 5x5 type heavy lifting, which is what I'm doing now. Used to just do lots of push ups, pull ups. Now i'm just starting to really try and push my limits with bench pressing, squating, and deadlifting in order to get gains, and this will certainly help with gains. I know with the right diet and working out I can def get over the 160lbs I am now, but I want to boost myself with 3 things at once, instead of 2.

Also, never been tested or anything, but I think normally I'm not producing enough endo test to see big gains anyway (can't grow a full beard at 24 and skinny physique, although somehow I was lucky enough to be well endowed where it counts).

is not a good idea because now we are in 2010 not in 1960... ther's plenty medical studys since it have been use wiseless.

the first 10 mg of D-bol start to hurt the HPTA fonction... so it will not help you the get your goal safer. testo alone will.

especialy in the first cycle.

usualy, here at stroidology, we advice to every newb to avoid oral for the first cycle, testo only is adviced.

and till now, anybody was happy. i suppose it will be the same for you.

no kick starter, it's useless.
 
Its recommended on Ology for first cycle to run test only. this way if you have bad sides you will know what they are from. if you react well to the test, you could always add the dbol towards the later part of your cycle. go with 30mg/day and have a solid diet

I thought with test alone you still needed some type of Aromatase inhibitor (AI), but you are saying without the dbol there is no need for arimidex?

Agreed...for first cycle test alone will be more than sufficient. My first cycle, about 10 years ago was 8 weeks of sustenon redi-jects at 250 mg-500 mg/wk. Done poorly with no post cycle therapy (pct), I put on 25 lbs.

Start basic and build from there if needed...your body will react well for your first cycle.
 
To answer your question about the Dbol & what you missed. Everyone is right about TEST should be your first cycle that way you can see if your having any sides to the TEST.

IF, your wanting to incorporate the DBOL during this cycle I would say that the end would be better then the start. Kane is right, I kickstart my cycles all the time with very minimal results. However, when I use an oral at the end to finish up a cycle I get some quick gains (strength wise).

Adding Dbol means that you would have to change up your post cycle therapy (pct) a bit to help get your HPTA going again.

Remember, to each there own. Do some good research and make your own good informed decision. Use the "search" button here at Ology that will save you some time in your quest.

You've been training for what? a few weeks? you have no idea if you're test is low or not cause you haven't had it tested. Why not stop looking for a short cut and start eating, training hard and actually put in some hard work to build your body using that instead of relying on drugs.

160lbs. Jesus Christ. You're a string bean dude. get your ass to Burger King a few days a week and start training hard for a year until you know what you're doing. I'm sure you wanna part of the tank top posse at your gym with your big pecs and bis, but you're going about this the wrong way.
 
RJH is right. If you really want to do it right, you better get your diet and training in check first before starting any cycle. Steroids aren't magic beans, you still need to put in the hard work first.

Like I said earlier I only ran and did pushups and pullups... just because I'm 160 doesn't mean I'm out of shape... I can run 15 miles no problem.

Burger king is your great advice here? Are you kidding me? I don't want to get fat, I want to gain muscle. If burger king is what you are recommending then I'm even more sure I'm going to do my original plan of at least 500mg test cyp, a 3500cal and 170g protein diet, and heavy lifting.

I can totally understand you saying that I need diet and exercise first. My point is that I have already been sticking to a very strict diet/exercise routine for a week, and now that I started pinning (yesterday was my first time ever, went pretty easy actually) so I def don't plan on stopping now.

All things being equal, if I stick to the same well researched exercise routines and diet I have now, and add some test, there is no way I won't get extra gains, and we both know that. If I had a shitty diet and bad exercise, like I had before, then I would totally agree with you about test being a waste.

At this point my only question really is whether or not to continue dbol. Before I read the advice on here, I took 20mg of dbol right before my first pin of 250mg test cyp. Kane said it affects the HPGA after the first 10mg dose, so would I end up crashing if I stopped now before the test hits? Or is one dose of 20mg not enough to really matter?

Basically I need to know whether to continue for 4 weeks now that I've done 1 dose, or to just stop the dbol and do test only.

Also, if I should continue the dbol, when should i start the e3d .5mg arimidex ?

If you don't eat big, you won't get big. You can go on counting macros and all that bullshit. Bottom line is your tiny. And you eat tiny, hence you will be tiny.

Since you already know what you are doing... good luck little fella. enjoy life in a medium.

hey RJ leave him alone about his diet. I mean he eats a can of tuna and some trail mix for his lunch.............:laugh:

I mean what do we know anyway, its not like you have been running test since his grandma was getting banged by the millkman!!!!!
