Looking into starting a cycle, probably just running test for 12 weeks and then a pct. Im 5' 8" and hover between 195 and 200. I am off to basic training for the army fairly soon (may to june), already took all the physicals so wont need to worry about blood tests for awhile. My goal is to get stronger while being able to cut some bf. I have had an ACL replacement in my right knee and am healed up fine from that, but would like to get my legs stronger. Ill be doing special forces and a lot of the training is long hikes with ruck sacks on. Diet is in check, workout routine is in check. Just looking for some advice/personal experience on what cycle would be best for my goals. Thanks!

you dont have time to run a 12 week cycle and recover hpta fully before your basic starts bro . you do NOT want to go through that with your test shut down.

Truer words have never been spoken.

The LAST thing you want is to be in boot feeling like a bitch...it is a difficult transition as it is and you don't want to fuck around with that.

Well then again it is only the Army....... lol

Is there anything you would recommend I could use, knowing my time frame, that would be a boost to help with my goals? I already put in the work, and am very happy with where I am at currently. But you can always be better! Thanks for the input, I appreciate it.

any steroid will shut you down . hgh is a option , it wont make big gains in 3-4 months but it will lean you out some and strengthen ths joints as well.

dude special forces is gunna be a bitch! train your ass of as much as you can get a great diet thats your best bet.

are you going 18x? I may know a thing or two about Army SF. Without going into too much detail, I will tell you that now is not the time to be doing a cycle. Be smart kid. Going SF means you'll need a Top Secret security clearance. Have you even filled out your SF-86C form yet? Not trying to be a dick, but these days they don't mess around when it comes to that kind of stuff. I guess it really depends on who does the investigation, but having gone through this shit before I can tell you it can be a bitch.

Yes sir 18x. Ok I was just looking for a boost before I leave. I have filled all necessary paper work and have gotten all clearances needed so far. I also required a medical waiver for my knee due to the ACL replacement. You are far from being a dick, I came on here to get answers to my questions and that's exactly what I got. Im not one of those people who are going to ask the question many times until someone tells me what I want to hear. You all have experience with testosterone etc. I don't. So if it is better to hold off that's what I will do. I am ready to do the work to try to become a green barrett. I work my ass off now. Thanks to everyone for the good luck, and for the advice and answers. I appreciate it. I would like to in the future, run a cycle, what would be a good first cycle to run knowing I will be in the military?

12 weeks Test only to start with, probably between 500-600mg per week. That will get your feet wet and will kind of tell you how your body reacts to exogenous hormones.

I know you've filled out all the needed paperwork, but just wait until the polygraph :D that will be fun for you lol.

Best advice I can give you is get a ruck sack, put about 60 pounds of stuff into it and start rucking. One of the hardest things to do is get your feet broken in. A lot of guys just can't get past that. The benefit of not being an X-Ray is that you get time in service to break your feet in. Good times. Standard Pace for EIB is 12 miles in 3 hours, same with Air Assault. When I did Bataan Memorial Death March I completed it in just under 6 hours, and that involved rucking through desert/ a mini mountain.

Absolute best of luck to your bro. Hit OSUT hard, enjoy Airborne, kill Selection.

One more thing. PT by yourself during OSUT and Airborne. The PT you do during training will not be enough.

Ya I guess the polygraph would have gotten me! I haven't taken that yet. There is a mountain range right next to my house that has horse trails and hiking trails on it. It is 7 miles total for the whole loop, it has a really good incline that goes for just under 3 miles, then wraps around the rest of the mountain range back to the start, I have been rucking that with 60 pounds for the last few months, I do two loops for a total of 14 miles, I can get it in under 4 hours comfortably. I run everyday and hump on the weekends. My body is ready to go! I just wish it was time to leave already. I know basic will be a breeze, I have shot any and all types of guns my entire life and having a big military family I have heard all the stories from basic. I have no doubts in my mind that I will make it into Special Forces. I am a professional motocross racer now, and have always had the drive to work hard. Thank you for the advice!

As far as the test goes, is there a certain type that I should give a whirl first? I have read up on Sustanon 250 quite a bit, but have also read a lot of people don't like it and take test cypionate or test propionate because of their active times. I want to make sure that when I do try a cycle, it is done correctly and I don't waste my health, or my money by doing something wrong.

Sounds like you are ahead of the game my man!

The one thing I wish I had prepared for is running in boots and utes, with the rifle. That ~7lbs. gets a hell of a lot heavier than you ever think it will.
